Hello.
I'm new to the board, but the only reason I really wanted to join was to ask a question to all psychics or anyone who would have any inkling of what is wrong with me. For the past year i've felt as if someone was following me. I even feel as if someone is watching me in a room with just me in it. I have also been having strange dreams. I tend to have dreams about me dying in various ways. But there is one dream that I haven't had since I was a little girl. A dream about me being adopted and my real parents tossing me out of a window to see if I would die. I didn't die so they said that I was "special" and kept killing me....I don't really remember why but they got some sort of benefit out of it. I know that I probably sound like a complete nut job but i'm really not. I just always have these unusual feelings/dreams. I would love if someone could help me figure things out about it. It may sound like i have some sort of fear of death but I really don't. I'm curious about it but not really scared of it. I'm also not adopted... lol. Just thought the more info I could give you guys the better.
Thanks in advance,
Josephine

I believe there are a few people here who can help you, sadly I am not one of them. I also feel this possibly will draw some skeptics as well. You could just be dreaming, at least I think you could.

This interpretation doesn't make perfect sense to me so I don't know if it will make any sense to you or not.
You dying in a dream means that there is a change in your life.
Your parents represent power, protection and shelter.
I would assume that the dream would represent something like this. Perhaps you feel that you are trying to change who you are, but someone in your life that you trust or are invested in is keeping you from doing so. This could be your parents or someone else. Perhaps there is a lot of change in your life, but someone is keeping you anchored in the past and is benefiting from it. Again though this is an armature's view and not to be taken without a grain of salt.
the feeling of being watched or followed could be a lot of different things. Did any event happen at the same time that you began feeling this? Also you might want to consider that it is paranoia of some sort (although it may also not be so don't think I'm saying your feelings are wrong). It is possible you felt that feeling a couple of times and since then your mind has been more focused on looking for ever little feeling like that.

I often feel like someone is watching me all the time. I lamost all the time get shivers on certain parts of my body, usually on my head or neck, but quite often on my arms and all through my body. As if someone is standing right behind me. I don't relate to your dreams though. Mine are always different, but are usually the theme of me being abducted or kidnapped, like last night's was horrible, but too long and i'm much too lazy to type it out. If you're fantastically interested i'll PM you, but they're not too great.
Good luck to you, and don't worry about it, seriously. It could be a guardian angel, that's what i believe anyways

For the first part of you feeling watched, I think that is something most people have experienced once or more in their lives and its a very most usual experience, probably one of the most common. And this can be from being watched or monitored or simply observed by some physical person as well as nonphysical, and probably animals as well, due to the energy that is transmitted during such an act that is sometimes "picked up" by the person who is being watched. Some people are more sensible for this than others and more frequently experience it, specially if you live in a place with many spirits around or diseased who havn't gone further and are stuck (ghosts). So basically you could do a cleansing ritual and banish any spirits, if you need help with this PM me or search the forums for my previous posts where I've given examples on how this can be done.
Regarding your dreams, it's pretty much impossible for outsiders, meaning other people, to correctly analyze and tell you what they mean. Symbols in dreams doesn't mean the same for every person as we are all different, and some dreams can be memories of past lives, of evens happened in your current life, or even in future lives. Dreams are in other words hard to interpret except for by yourself, but a hypnotherapist could help you do a regression to find out more about your own dreams from your own perspective.
Best of luck!

This is a good point. I really should stop trying because it has always given me a headache to even try. Too much conflicting information.

Are you actually adopted or no? Sorry I was having difficulty determining that from the info you gave.

I say let time reveal the true meaning of all this. No disrespect but if its really bad then you should seek professional help. I'm sure no one here could provide you with the expertise you need to stay healthy.

The being watched feeling happens to everyone even when no one is there.
As for the dreams etc. I highly recommend you go and see a mental health professional. Not cause your a 'nut job' but to put your life including your dreams into perspective for you or at least help in this regard.

Don't think too much about being watched... unless its a stalker then its kinda iffy. I have had those same problems. Over Christmas Break, I went over to my cousins house and we did some "ghost hunting/exploring." Ever since that night even when I got home I felt as if some kind of bad omen was with me. That Sunday I went to church, and the feeling vanished forever... well not forever I still feel it here and there occasionally, but my father passed away 2 1/2 years ago in the house... so I'm hoping what I'm feeling is his presence. Can't really tell if it is evil or not anymore, but I don't feel threatened by "being watched" anymore. My cousin told me it was his friends looking after me... might be? I will never know.
And if it is as bad as it sounds, I agree with Therion, seek some professional help. Try talking with a priest first... then if you can't get anything resolved take it a step further.
No disrespect whatsoever! Trying to help through my experience as well.

And as a side effect, you can use your new equipment to study the Paranormal as a hobby.
Seriously though, thinking about it again I really think you should talk to someone in real life as a more personal talking through would be more useful in this situation. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

If your feelings of being watched have persisted for more than a year, no factual foundation for them has been found in all that time, and you feel this way even when you believe that you are alone, then the matter should be promptly referred to a healthcare professional. There is no stigma in that, and until the matter is professionally investigated, it is speculative whether or not the problem is psychological in origin.
The duration of the problem, and that it occurs despite your justifiable belief to the contrary, distinguish your report from the ordinary, widespread, episodic, and casual experiences of others.
Perhaps after you have resolved this problem, and have explored with a health provider whether or not the dreams have any relationship with that problem, would be a better time for forum comments on the dreams.

I agree. A psychologist or psychiatrist won't just call you crazy. Some will actually help you determine these dreams to see if they might have something to do with your everyday life or certain feelings you may be having about the people close to you. Trust me, having strange dreams doesn't make you crazy. I have weird-ass dreams all the time where I fly around and giant cans of soda are chasing me and people that I've never met will be main characters who shapeshift into goats, but I'm not crazy. Crazy dreams are your body's way of keeping you sane, because during REM sleep you are temporarily allowed to
LOSE YOUR MIND, so crazier dreams can actually be a sign that you're in fine mental health.

I'm sorry to hear you have been through all this for so long you should just go to a psychiatrist he can probably help you with the effect of someone is staring/looking at you although I think it could be caused by some ghost(?), but it probably isn't, because as far is I understood out of your information you never had any contacts with ghosts. If I would be you I would just go to some psychiatrist. I can always help you with physical problems if you have them

Josephine 123,
Well, your are dealing with life in a normal way ---He, he what if I say people are watching you but if your home alone and the felling persist then your your mind is over reacting to some stimuli. This happens to people that take drugs--pot-- gives people feelings of paranoia others see thing in the air.
More often it is a trauma or traumatic event in their lives ---sometimes in early childhood produces stimulation's later in life that produces these effects.
Wright your dreams down and keep a journal and if you want put them on U.M. so that we can analyse them ---it is the secret to the personality and the unconscious mind.
I skim trough her ounce a week but their are some good interpreters on here.
Have a nice day, smile..

Sounds as if you're gonna go through some hard times soon...You're gonna feel like you're parents are disowning you...Like, the people you trust, will just seem to forget about you...And, you wont feel you wont be able to get out of it....?
Prolly not the bets interpretation..But might help...Good luck!

Usually repetitive dreams of the nature she describes comes from some sort of traumatic event whether or not they can remember it or not. See when your young like a baby and an exceptionally traumatic event occurs in your life you brain responds by blocking that memory from your conscious mind. It's a protective measure taken by the brain to minimize psychological harm.
Perhaps when she was a baby someone did toss her out of a window or did something to her which caused the dreams.
Before offering advice which is absolutely ludicrous and offering a metaphysical help via Darkbreed you should rule out all other possible and rational explanations for these reoccurring dreams etc.
