Let's just say that you died of natural causes, and you didn't really have any HUGE reasons for staying earthbound (jealousy, vengance, etc.) how long do you think you'd stay here before moving onto another permanent (if it was set up that way) plane of existance?
Personally, I'd probably stay earthbound for a while. I'd be a little bit afraid of going onto another plane not knowing if I'd ever return, or if I'd become egoless. Maybe I'd consider becoming a spirit guide (Gosh, where would the sign-up sheets be?), or I would possibly just explore the mysteries of our present realm. I do know it probably wouldn't be a good idea to stay in the lower vibrations, but I'm sure not all entities there would be necesarrily negative.

With Life, I may stay forever and do nothing..
But after death by nature cause... without life, I will not stay for a long.. without doing anything.
It is difficult to get a friend who have a same wave length, in your life time.
It is very difficult to get a media with your wavelength... that too, the media should have that type of beleif to get communicate and not distracted from his bilief by others.

I have every intention of staying around until the end of my autistic son's life. He will never be able to take care of himself completely, and I accept my responsibility to care for him quite seriously -- even after my death. I will do everything in my power, forever, to protect him. I trust my other son will be able to take care of himself.

I think I would tend to follow the natural order of things as they occur. I would go with the flow; so to speak.

I agree that I too would probably want ot 'go with the flow'. We don't know how long after death you can pass over to the next life, but Near Death Experiences suggest that it happens pretty quickly. And my fear of the unknown would not be so bad if loved ones were there to greet me. It might be interesting to stick around for my funeral and hear what people are saying about me, although they do say that listeners never hear good about themselves...

Millions of years or even forever would be nice although it would be good to have a means to go elswhere when the planet dies.

I think when I die, I will watch over my family, then take off for parts unknown. I see no reason to scare the heck out of my kids, well on second thought that might not be such a bad thing..Anyway, I need some peace and quiet so would go to a remote island and lay in the sun, drink and swim all the time. Problem is I cant swim, and I burn easily, but who cares, Im dead? JN

LOL They must! Who would want to wander aimlessly around the world, all pale and dead looking? JN
