I grew up in a haunted house. For as long as I can remember I have awakened (not everyday) with scratches on my body, a few deep enough to draw blood. It will be one scratch ot two. I found out much later I wasn't the only one who did. I moved and whatever it is has followed me. I mostly get them on my face. two scratches, not deep. I have always been interest in the paranormal, mainly because of how I grew up. I never buy anything second hand because 60% of the time something comes with it. I brought this beautiful picture from a local thrift shop and hung it over my bed. I fell asleep mid afternoon and was very restless, woke up with my face burning, I had welts on my face. I got rid of the picture and haven't brought second hand since. My significant other did not believe in ghosts before he met me. He does now after being with me for so many years. My favorite hobby is spirit photography. Any theories?

You could rule out the most obvious explanation by going to bed with gloves on.
