I think I might have seen a dragon a few months past. It was early one morning around eight o' clock when my dad and I were out taking a walk. We live out near the country, so it is always very peaceful and we like to take the dog out early in the morning. The weather was nice, it was warm but with a slight chill. It was around early autumn. We were walking out on one of the hiking trails in the woods, and we were just talking softly when suddenly my dog started barking. She isn't a barker, but sometimes when she sees another dog she'll bark once or twice. She doesn't bark when she sees a person or when someone comes through the door. We stopped because she was staring out into the woods and my first thought was "a stray dog or other animal was out there". I sort of walked into the trees a little and suddenly I saw this huge shape hurl up ahead. It sort of glinted and momentarily blinded me, before I heard a snapping of lots of twigs and saw it sort of launch itself upward, into flight, I think. It then disappeared, and when I looked up I sort of saw a bat-dragon-ish shape. It was followed by a strange sence of tingling everywhere (not from fear) that remained with me for the rest of the day. I also heard a sort of noise sort of like a mix between a cat hissing and a crow cawing. It sounded sort of strangled, but I didn't hear it perfectly because my dog wouldn't shut up. My dad didn't get as good of a view since he hadn't followed me into the trees, but he was as shocked and scared as I was and we stuck around for a while, looking for footprints or other signs. All we managed to see was a lot of fallen down bushes and some stepped on twigs. The shape seemed to be about as large as a big cat, probably more of tiger-sized. That's all I can think of comparing it to. When I describe it, it sounds really dragon-like but when I first saw it I didn't think "dragon".

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it wasn't a dragon.
