don't know if this belongs here...


There's this abandoned mortuary where I live, it's always boarded up. It's been like this for at least 19 years and I guess the owner ( a vietnam vet) is asking a huge amount of money for the land which is in a flood plain. Well me and some friends went out there last night to just get a closer look at the place (no B&E)...We're not there for even two minutes and this little old white hatchback pull in behind me.... I had spoken to the owner of the property (the war vet) on the phone earlier in the day along with tons of people from the city...everyone told me that basically the owner is nuts. He is. This fella isn't taller then 5'4 and he comes out of his car moving like Leprechaun, from the Leprechaun movies...he's telling us how he's called the police and how he doesn't understand what we're always doing out here breaking in (first time there, mind you.)
We tell him we were just looking and get back into our car...I step back out and ask "What is this place anyway?" knowing full well it's an old abandoned mortuary and he tells me "What do you think?! an abandoned building!!" I said "I know that, I meant before it was abandoned..."

.....at this point he turns and looks at the old boarded up building and shrugs saying "I don't know...I'm just the caretaker!" He owns it though, it was the same guy i spoke to on the phone. This place looks way haunted and I had a sinking feeling he was covering something up...Just thought I'd let you guys know...

Sounds creepy.


He could just be an old short man tired of having to run people off from HIS property.

He could be held for major liability if someone goes into his old building and gets hurt. It sounds like he is having to run people off on a regular basis. I know I would get sick of shooing kids away every night. Id probably set something up to scare the Hell-O out of you

haha i've been run off many times, this time it was different though....just really creepy. It really seemed like he had something to hide...

Okay, so you're trespassing and the owner/caretaker runs you off angrily. And this is mysterious how?

I'd be angry too if some teens were sneaking onto my property and messing around.


Also... I have no clue how Leprechaun from the movie moves, but perhaps this veteran was wounded in the war and is now disabled.
