Well it all started with one odd shaped bruce, some time last year i noticed that i had a bruise, un like any other bruise this one was in the shape of a heart. At first i though it was nothing and brushed it off. Then a few weeks later i noticed a new mole in the shape of a heart....i thought it was weird but couldn'd do anything about it. So a week later it was my dad's birthday and i was lighting the candels on he's cake. We all know what a lighter burn looks like (:-d) that's what it looks like in case you don't know. Well i accidentally placed my harm on top of the hot lighter i got a burn and well it's in the shape of a heart. Now seeing as how this was more than one now i began to question it, but still came up with nothing. Then i got a sun spot from the sun on the oposite side of my harm and yes you guessed it it's in the shape of a heart. Recently i got what looked like a blemish on my left cheek but it wasn't a blemish it was a mark in the shape of yes yet another heart. I also got another tiny heart in the bed of my thum nail. Also i noticed that from time to time i would get what felt like an itch on my hand or leg and with out me scratching it i looked down and it was a red mark in the shape of a heart. I don't know what to think about this. Does any one have any idea why this could be happening to me?
I have attached a few pictures of the hearts so you can see...

To me it looks like a Mickey Mouse head, rather than a heart.
I think a trip to the dermatologist would be in order. It might be skin cancer or something that needs to be examined by a doctor.
Welcome to the board, and please stop typing in caps. It's considered as shouting.

Thanks, so you think that all these hearts can possibly be cancer? To be honest I have been to the Dr and she sayd that it's nothing more than a clear scar now.

So what you saying is that something in the shape of a heart couldn't possibly happen by chance? Not in a million years?

no it could and i know that, hence the reason why i brushed it off the first few heart shaped bruises i got. but then when they just kept happening and when it was the red marks that would just show up and disapear a few moments after. now that's when i started to question it.

You might want to seek medical help. There is a guy whos skin peels of in diamond shaped flakes. It has for years. That's thousands of diamonds all over him.
It's like the lines in the palms of our hands. I can spot X's all day but it doesn't mean anything.

So these hearts are bruises or birthmarks? I'm confused.
If they are bruising then maybe there is something in your home or your bedroom that you are bumping into causing the heart shapes?
Hmm, odd I don't know what else to suggest but I hope you find an answer.

Take care, Jody

Thank you all for replying.
WEll first they are not birthmarks all though my birthmark is in the shape of a heart. I just noticed this a few days ago. they all come from difrent things none of which are hearts. They take the shape of a heart, the one on my harm was a lighter burn and it scared up as a heart. the heart on the nail bed of my thum just kind of apeared. the mark on my cheek took the shape of a heart it was round. it seems they all change to a heart shape. I to hope I find my answer.
p.s
thanks for being nice to me

What's happening is .. I don't even remember the word for it, But you're seeing hearts, Some one who wants to see a .. as someone else said mickey mouse head would see that.. it's got something to do with the brain and the fact that your, subconsciously looking for hearts and MAKING them appear. when in reality they are just .. odd shapes.
Its like those little cards they hold up.. If you WANT to see a milk spill you're going to see a milk spill.
>Also uses 'The Number 23' as an example.

Its a curiosity, I'm afraid nothing more. I wouldn't attribute it to any sort of 'metaphysical' apparation.
It's no different that when one looks at clouds and can see shapes. Your mind is what puts the significance on it.

Apr 8 2008, 06:09 PM

your probably right.

The coincidences so far are more than seeing the number 23 in random places but it might all be coincidence. Give it some more time and report back as to if this continues or stops on its own. Some quick questions though:
Are you religious?
Are you in touch with the spiritual?
Have you noticed anything else unusual around you?

CLOVIS-Well it's been going on since the begining of last year. so i don't know if it will be going away any time soon. but thanks ill keep that in mind.
Are you religious? some what
Are you in touch with the spiritual? yes i am.
Have you noticed anything else unusual around you?well this is going to add to my self being as seeming insane, but since i was younger i could comunicate with those that have passed. i would see or hear them around. lately some one i don't know who but some one has been waking me up at 3 am or some times at 4 am. by some one i mean some one that has passed.
WEREGRIL666-thank you for sharing. that would be some thing to see lol.
Clovis
Apr 9 2008, 12:11 PM
The hearts then might be connected to whatever entity is waking you up at 3 or 4AM. I am not sure of the level of communication you have had before with such entities but I would warn anyone from giving attention, entertaining, or attempting to make contact. Keep us informed.
ROSSETTA
Apr 9 2008, 06:05 PM
You might be right. i recently talked to my mom about the whole waking up at 3 or 4 am and she said that she knows im not scared of them since im used to hearing them but there is no reason to fear them at all. she said it could be my grandfather just trying to say some thing to me. in my situation i do believe it's possibly him i don't quite remember him and the last time i saw him was when i was 3 years old.
what i do when i am woken up i just open my eyes and clearly i can feel some one in in my room so i just say out loud. "im going back to sleep now, please don't wake me and let me rest. good night" then i go back to sleep.

Rossetta, for the love of god, buy a dictionary.
It's 'Bruise' not 'Bruce'
-phew-
I think perhaps this is just a coincidence. The fact that you seem to have such an obsession over them suggests to me that you're just seeing what you want to see & what ever /whoever is visting you at night may just be you're subconscious waking you up.

SUN SHINE-i am uploading two more pictures for you. the one that i took of the heart on my thums nail bed i have to upload and put it in here. i will later but for now here are two others.
MNEMEION-that's not the bruise, the bruise i din't get a chance to take a picture of since i din't pay much attention to them then. that picture is of the lighter burn it was taken the next day but here is a nother picture of just the scar.

It's BRUISE not 'Bruce', not 'Bruse'. It's actually quite simple.

the lighter burn was not made on purpose it was an accident....

IT JUST FEELS WRONG NOT TO TYPE IN CAPITALS...
Typing in all capitals has for the past 20 years, or even longer, been regarded as the Netiquette equivalent of the poster
!!SCREAMING!! at her or his intended audience.
Besides, when you type in all caps you entirely lose the ability of capitalizing the occasional INDIVIDUAL word for SPECIFIC emphasis.

I do not understand the whole hatred for people who type in capitals. Sure it is not standard and quite annoying, not as annoying as shifting caps, and definitely not as annoying as someone actually screaming. I just do not see them as being the equivalent. After 20 years I think we should go about our business and let them be because having to see someone always play the CAPS POLICE is more annoying than seeing the caps.
