Well, i just crafted a fine wallet. I make my own skateboard pads to. I've also fashined a plastic bag-duct tape mitten as well

I am a teacher and recently I had a student that was pressured into putting duct tape on his eyebrows and ripping them off. That was before christmas and just a few of the brows have grown back. He completly ripped out their roots. I tried not to laugh!!!

my family tends to get a little fun loving around x-mas time.. and to show their love they share the joy of opening presents wrapped in duct tape...but i think the joke is on them... cause it may take awhile to open them... i mean i never go to x-mas at my parents without a knife.......but you can image how long it must take to wrap a present.... or twenty

Awww duct tape, I think we've all been there....When I was younger, I had a pair of sneakers that were so pathetic and I wouldn't throw them away...I duct taped the soles, wrapping it around the sneakers and continued wearing them. Wrapped them so many times that there was a bump on the sole, was commented on my walking weird and finally got rid of them...Sad day.....

When I was 12 I went to bible camp and we made a duct tape straight jacket for some kid. I also used to know someone who made a pair of swim trunks out of duct tape.

My DT story was when i played football for my local clubs, at times the club was too cheap to mend us up before during & after a game i'd duct tape myself usually my drivers, ankles & hamstrings to prevent injury or aggravating older ones. Before the season was out there'd be half dozen of us rolling up to games with tape in our bags. I felt like Macgyver...''never leave home without it...''

Don't forget it's uses in automotive repair...I've taped up a few hoses (one was for the coolant) and saved the day! Duct tape rocks!

I remeber duct tape.... It's great, I fixed my skateboard with it, I then jumped off from 7 feet, did an ollie and nearly grinded down a rail, but it broke as i hit the rail, it was then beyond repair

I once sported a duct tape wallet. It worked well until it started wearing and some money got stuck in it. Lucky for me, legal tender is accepted if more than half is clearly intact.

I used to drive Rx7 Sports cars.... mechanically sound they were not (still love them!) and duct tape was an absolute requirement to have on hand at all times. Not only did I fix leaky exhaust, broken door handles, popped hoses, but when I wasnt' using it, the roll doubled as the PERFECT cupholder!!! Oh yes, duct tape IS the 4th law of Physics!

Duct tape is a must have for those venturing into remote spots. Together with about anything you can make a splint and it makes the best butterfly bandage ever that will resist water and sweat.

Oh, and did y'all know that there is a company back in -- I want to say Conneticut, that's making colored duct tape? I had a roll of hot pink for a convention I set up several years ago--used to tape down Cat5 cables to carpet so people wouldnt' trip on the computer networking. It was the exact same tape as the redneck chrome colored stuff we all know and love; it was just hot florescent pink!

No, but this is for real...in a cinch if you find yourself in pants that are too long, turn up and duct tape the inside to the proper length instead of having to hem them on the spot. That has saved many of my friends in the past.

When I was yonger, I used to love getting a roll of duct tape and putting it all over everything, it was funny, because I didn't realise those hairy clubs attached to my dad's chest where not allowed to have duct tape on them. Lets put it this way, his arms where red and lumpy for a week!

Too funny!

I liked the colour on my door. So when its time to be painted, i got transparent tape and pasted it all over. when the paint had dried, I removed the tape. My pa was not very happy.

Hehe, if I would've done that to my dad, I would have had a really sore bum lol!

Duct tape can be fun and all. But, when somebody plays a cruel joke and puts that stuff
on your arm hair then yanking it off can be pretty bad.
