Just a quick comment Oh mighty Admin.

I had done a very close copy of your question that involved a selected group. Christians. (My local Church) It was a questionaire that asked if other than their religious beliefs they believed in Alantis, UFO's Ghost and other such things.
They werew also asked their age range. 18-25 25-35 35-45 45-55 55 and up

The two age groups that responded with a positive (Belief in) where the 18-25 and much to my surprise the 55 and above. Reasons ran the spectrum of that "we know more about space than we do about what is on the bottom of our own oceans", to "all things are possible". While this particular church is a bible church. (Meaning it has no other teachings other than what is in the bible) it encourages members to think for themselves.

Personaly I think that we will find Alantis, and when we do, we will find that many of the things we though we invented, were invented a long, long time ago.

Thank you, SaRuMan, for adding my editorial to unexplained-mysteries.com. It was a pleasure to finally put my thoughts on the net for others to read. Atlantis is a passion of mine, and ever since I was a kid I have been fascinated with this lost civilization and the ideals it holds. If I can, I would like to write more on Atlantis and add them here?

The bit about the Sphinx interested me.Isn't there statues of a similar looking creature with a different face from Mesopotamia and babylon?

It's not impossible to me that the Egyptions could have been direct decendents of Atalantians.

There have been myths and stories associated with the Bible...myths that actually have turned out to be fact... places, cities, civilizations, uncovered.Why would Atlantis be any different?

Years ago, I didn't really think anything about Atlantis, but now in light of all these other findings, I am taking this subject seriously.Yes, I think Atlantis might be out there.

I have a huge interest in the chamber underneath the Sphinx and what it holds, and hopefully I can gather enough information together to write something on the matter.

I am fascinated by this chamber...if only we could get into it.Please do find out anything you can and post it for us.I have this feeling about this room...isn't it supposed to hold something important... like ancient records... something Edgar Cayce said about the hall of records?I wonder when they will start to dig?

Will we find atlantis or will they find us? The bermuda triangle is known for inciting mystical anxiety in people. Airplanes and ships known to simply vanish under the watchful eye of the bermuda triangle. Where exactly do these airplanes and ships disappear to? The bottom of the ocean?

There have been experiences reported and one by a male pilot who claimed to have been sucked into the clouds of the bermuda triangle. A tunnel began to form around his plane and seemingly engulf him. Fortunately, he was able to escape from this mysterious power and suddenly his technical equipment within his plane had gone back to normal, and thus was able to escape the hands of Bermuda.

What exactly would cause such an extraordinary event? Weather forecasts should have warned him of the dangers of entering these zones, therefore delaying his air travel. Is the Bermuda triangle a location of immense energies harnessed by some powerful civilization? These energies were possibly created to form a spacial worm hole on earth like a portal. But to where? It's presumable to say that this "portal" is a direct entrance towards the new city of Atlantis or possibly another area not of this earth but in a different realm, where this powerful civilization exists.

There have been stories told of encounters of a new line of humans or possibly a genetically engineered predecessary of us, a certain folklore creature which would reasonably be known as fairies. People who have been invited to visit this new city through a portal, like the portal-concept of the Bermuda triangle that I have conjectured. One story of mine involved a relative of mine entering a portal within a naturally large tree, who was invited by one of these "fairies", to enter a city where highly advanced cars existed as well and building technologically advanced. Yet there was a catch, he was only to eat white rice in order to return back, but if he were to eat brown rice he would no longer be able to return home and thus trapped in this city. The more axiomatic part of this story is that while he was with this fairy, other family members reported him to be missing, either about 3 days or over a week. While returning home after his long "vacation", he told his family that he had entered an entirely new city of great wonders. This story could link to my theory of Atlantis in full existance but in another realm, possibly out of our time or oblivious to the naked eye and our hi-tech scanners.

Could there be portals located across the earth that directly leads to the new city of the Atlanteans? Could these Atlanteans have harnessed the very power of our natural forces using these crystal energies and their sub-nuclear technology?

There are prophecies of a civlization predestined to arrive in the near future. Certain prophecies speak of this civlization as our gaurdian and our help of our disasterous outcome of the war between three great nations, or possibly the Bibles foretold Apocalypse. Could this civlization be the civlization of Atlantis? We will only have to wait and watch for their signs.

This story was told to me by my father, who was with his cousin, the person who claimed to have entered this city, but my father did not accompany him.

Why does this white rice/brown rice story sound familiar, I wonder. I've heard something like this once before but I don't know where nor do I remember from whom.

As for the Bermuda Triangle theory, hmm, I have ideas about this as well...

Alright hey u guys seem really smart and stuff am a student at a high school and am doing a research paper on the controversial topic of Atlantis and well I found this site on a search and I got very interested in what ya'll write I was just wondering if any of you guys can help me out here I would really appreciate it alot.
