A Chinese couple are distraught after their three year old daughter threw their savings out of the window of their 17th floor flat.

The little girl threw the equivalent of £700 out of the window of their rented apartment in Shenzen while her parents were asleep.

"When I woke up, she wasn't beside me, and my purse was on the bed, open, and with a thick wad of money missing," said the mother, Mrs. Huang.

"I looked everywhere, then I noticed there were two notes on the windowsill, and another two on the window sill one floor down," she added.

The owner of a restaurant on the first floor of the building told her that money had been raining down on to the street, and that passers-by had gone crazy trying to catch it.

Mrs Huang said she spent the whole day in tears as £400 of the money had belonged to other people.

"We're now hoping for magic, and that the people with our money will bring it back," she said.

Bet the 3 year old had lots of FUN watching the people scramble for the money. About a year ago some kids got in to trouble by throwing a few hands full of one dollar bills off a freeway bridge near here. Total chaos. Kids were charge with disorderly conduct.

If there poor and that was all they had of course she'd be upset that the kid threw it out the window. If a kid threw my savings out the window I'd throw them out lol.

She probably worked very hard for that money that's why she cried. She's probably glad her child is ok as well.

It depends if I was able to recover my savings then I'd be ok. However if I am not we got problems lol. It took me nearly 2 years to save all that while working and going to high school. So if anyone throws my cash out the window they're going out the window too. But I don't have any kids in my place so I don't gotta worry about that lol. I'm not cruel that's my hard earned cash. No ones gonna come into my apartment and start tossing money so no worries. thumbsup.gif That kid was kinda dumb though at that age I knew what money looked like.

I'm glad to know the child is ok, but let this be a lesson to the mother.
Next time put the money in the bank.

Yup don't trust a three year old with money... I mean if your gonna leave it just opened there they'll automaticaly think "Hey that looks fun to play with!". I remember a bit when I was three lol I was singing and jumping on a cushion to ACDC Thunder.
