Most people, including myself only know about a few recent sites that have been found regarding ancient cities. But in order to paint a more complete picture of the scope of human trade, culture and networks we need information. I've found a great site for this. Appearantly just news accounts with photos but encapsulated on one site. From Asia to Europe, articles detailing recent finds of cities underwater in oceans, seas and lakes. Also ancient ships and thier cargo.

Ive noticed a few topics lately concerning ancient civilizations/floods and figured this might help.
Герой Советского Союза
Although it seems like a well presented site not all the sources and articles on the morien-institute website are credible, be careful as to what they offer as 'truth' and do some personal research to determine the facts for yourself.
Aztec Warrior
That site, while perhaps interesting, seems to focus on shipwreaks on not on ancient civilizations.

I spent some time on the site and noted at least 3 articles on cities underwater, one off Japan and another in Russia, and evidence in the Black Sea.

All the articles I saw were from daily newspapers. Seemed like a good source for info. Nothing of UFO's or space aliens or hollow earth so it got my thumb of approval...lol

I think the most interesting recent discovery is in Jiroft, Iran. There is evidence that writing was invented there instead of by the Sumerians. Thus, it could be an older civilization than Sumer and Egypt. For more info see:
