Around 5:23 am I woke up to my cat hissing and growling and she had her back arched and fur up. She was staring at the corner of one of my walls and there was nothing there when I looked so I picked her up and tried to calm her down but she just jumped out of my arms and continued staring at the one spot(not once did she take her eyes off that spot) although now she was no longer making any noises but the fur on her back was still up. Then I noticed that my dinosuar glow in the dark objects where going around in circles and there was absolutly no wind in my room to make them twirl(and I doubt very much she was so upset over that cause she'd just try to play with them instead of putting up such a fuss)She finally stopped staring at the corner/wall around 5:37 and walked to the end of my bed and started sniffing the end of my blanket(she even had her mouth open for extra smell)and she also licked it then jumped off my bed and she like crept to the spot(she was really low to the ground) and started sniffing everything in that area then walk over to food dish and started to eat so I finally just picked her up and she started purring again like everything was fine. I've never had a cat behave like that before and it seemed like she was totally scared.

I am a firm believer that animals sense things that we don't.

well some animals have a very fine tune sense of smell and hearing, so your cat might of heard something thats is out of human hearing

well, (someone deleted my post..it was here before already lol) I defidently think that animals can see things that we cant. Well, our 1st dog died a few years ago and about 2 weeks later we got our second dog

Well she sleeps where our old used to. And sometimes she will not go near it (its under our pool table) or she'll stare at it and bark like hell just like when the neighbors dog comes to our front door....I defidently think she see's her....

No, your cat is just a little too sensitive when it comes to thing moving around.
Dogs go crazy with leaves moving outside, they just bark and bark. I hate to say this but aniamals are just dumb. Some cats go crazy then people buy new objects and when the cats see it they will go crazy with the fur all up.

I noticed that 2 replies got deleted I wonder why, and I disagree with you geeohn I seriously doubt that animals are stupid they just see moving things(example leaves) as things to play with just like any other animal, besides I never had any new toys for my cat to go crazy with that night

sometimes animals go crazy over a light from a flashlight. I was a tv show about that a dog went crazy and just try to bite it. The pet owner decided to take the dog to a animals doctor where this doc gave the dog some prozac. Sometimes animals have mental illnesses. You never know, your cat might be crazy.

I have a sense to certain areas at times as well , and strangely often times my cat would stare at the same spot I sensed something at with me . I later found an article about animals and extra sensory perception . Its this along with my own experiences that lead me to believe that cats can indeed see ghosts .
