Has anyone heard whether UFO's have been seen over water areas, like lakes for example. If so do you know what the report said happened while they were there.
Babs
UFO's have been seen flying into the oceans and lakes and flying over and around rivers.They say they fly into the water and disappear... and then are seen coming out of the waters and flying through the air again... and disappear.

These paranormal phenomena you've said are the USO's (Unidentified Submarine Objects). There's a thread not far down from this one. USO's are mainly of two kinds;
1) Weird wheel of lights shining from the seas towards the skies.
2) UFO's hovering above, descending/ascending from lakes or seas and then shooting off towards the skies like a laser.

I've posted an account of this USO's (UFO's) somewhere in South America in the last thread. Please do read that up, but here's another one I got. I'll quote them up for you:

QUOTE
The driver and passengers of a London bus could hardly believe thier eyes when a silver cigar-shaped USO dived into the River Lea after cutting through telephone wires and gouging a scar in the concrete bank. Bob Fall was driving his number 123 bus towards Tottenham on 13 April 1964 when the USO dived across the road and landed in the river. The police, who found nothing when they dragged the 6-foot (2 metre) deep river, suggested that the witnesses may have seen a flight of ducks - but that still does not explain broken wires and damaged concrete.

Another one:

An 'impossible' USO was observed in the St Lawrence River near the city of Quebec, Canada, in March 1965. For four or five minutes, Captain Claude Laurin of Quebecair and his co-pilot could see a 'submarine' lying below the surface over 200 miles (320 kilometres) from the open sea, a situation that would be extremely hazardous for any ordinary submersible. On 23 May 1969, three eyewitnesses watched 'a round shining object with flashing red lights' dive into the St Lawrence. A police search found nothing, however.

It is wierd though that there were 2 different accounts in almost a year between them at the St Lawrence River...... ph34r.gif
