So far I've just noticed this with Internet Explorer, windows keep closing on themselves.. my friend said something about low ram... can't be sure...

Could be security settings on IE. Do they close on interactive sites that have some sort of flash or otherwise?

Or you could try to fix your registry. That may fix the problem as well.

It's because IE is a horrible browser. Try Firefox or Opera.

^ I'd agree if you have limited ram you should really try Opera. I used it fine with 185mb of ram first generation in my old computer.

If your computer supports ddr2 ram, you should be aware that the prices of those chips have dropped quite a lot over the last year because of ddr3 coming into the scene. Can get a 1gig stick of ram now for 30 bucks for the 667mhz stuff or a few dollars more if you buy the 800mhz sticks in pairs.

Shoulds like some annoying spyware/adware. Should get ad-aware 2007 (it's free) make sure it's updated and scan your computer for bad crap.

IE does suck now. I avoid it like it was the plague.

I don't have a problem at all with IE, I tried firefox but I disliked it for various reasons.

I posted a thread about this same problem, still got no answers. I think your having the exact same problem as me. I personally prefer interner explorer I'm not use to firefox or those other programs. So basically mine just closes at random times usually when flash is involved. Or whenever I try to exit out the window to close the program it says


UNEXPECTED ERROR some crap like that......
then it ends up closing. I noticed it just started this once I bought a printer...anybody know how to fix this?
I have a HP laptop and I bought a HP printer..so it should'nt be the printer.

Oh and just for the record NO viruses No nothing! Spyware and firewall scans constantly and pretty much everyday so that's out of the story. I heard it's like memory or something like that.......
