The 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The world should have ended in 2000 so how can there be an apocolypse predicted in 2012. These prophets have no respect for there colleagues, they should communicate more

2012, either A) we finally come out of a depression/recession and if we're lucky a huge climate shift that causes us to go back into an ice age. someone hacks into the cyber systems and launches the nuclear weapons throughout the world and the remaining survivors fight to see who controls the world. Or than that 2012 maybe just another year, another time, and maybe nothing will happen. But something always happens everyday, so who knows.

Well, in the summer of 2012 I will have my bachelors in Computer Science working toward my masters. Then after this prophecy has failed, we will move onto some other prophecy and wonder its truthfulness.

According to the Mayan the world will change and enter a new era. Good men from the sky will battle with bad men from earth. The ones from space will win and then rule the globe. Some believe we will evolve to higher consciousness. Some believe sunspots cycles will peak and cause havoc on the Earth. Others that the pole shift will occur causing the havoc. I believe a great leader will arrive to fix the crisis. People will of course love him. He might be none other than the Antichrist regardless of how peaceful he seems at first.

Maybe in classic Hegelian Dialectic he along with others will overcome the evil New World Order that a few, including Bush, are a part of setting up, and the wars and control they wish to exert on the planet will be rejected under the illusion that mankind has truly turned in a new direction. Then once the great peacemaker (Antichrist) has control then things will turn ugly. The Bible does speak of seven years under his rule, three and a half of peace then three and a half of war. That would mean that right before the middle of 2016 the peace will end and the greatest time of terror will then begin on the planet, rivaling even the terrible times that might occur sometime between now and 2012.

Aliens might also land and claim they have rid the world of anyone who is not ready to evolve thus explaining away the Christian Rapture as not really God taking them away but they did. There is also talk of a Maitreya whom on a certain day he will appear on every TV and anyone who watches will hear him talk in the language they understand, all at the same time, and that statues and religious icons will speak and proclaim he is the true and final messiah.

There is many theories but I guess we shall have to wait and see. All I know is that if for any reason a time comes and we are told to accept a mark which without we cannot buy or sell things I would not accept it. Even if it seems the whole world finally knows peace because mankind has come together and that those refusing are not only hated but tortured and executed.

If interested in the Biblical versions of the end times you can start off with Matthew 24, Luke 17 and 21, 2 Thessalonians 2, and Revelation 11, 12, 13 though this is not an all conclusive list and all of Revelation is about the end times

1 Corinthians 15:22 is sometimes mentioned when speaking about the Rapture as well and the book of 1 John makes mention of antichrists
