Recently upon my boredom I decided to lurk about the internet when I came to this forum. I found a topic of interest and soon joined the forum to take part in a lively discussion. Little did I know of the paranormal event which whould soon take place. I logged my account with a seldom used email account...VERY SELDOM. Once I became a member of this community I became aware of a freakish occurance. SPAM in my email! This was not your ordinary spam. This spam was like a viral infection within my email that kept multiplying and multiplying like nothing I had ever seen before. Do you people think this is a case for the OSIR to investigate? I have never seen this amazing pnenomenon in any other forum I have ever joined. What should I do?

I've never heard anyone else mention it. Maybe you ought to ask in the Web Site and Forum News forum?

If there's a problem with email resulting from something to do with this site, that would seem to be the most appropriate place. It needn't necessarily be a conspiracy, it might just be a technical problem of some kind. In fact, if it's coming from here, it'll almost certainly be. This site doesn't send out spam.

Did you list your email address in your profile? someone could have taken it and sold it to an AD firm and boom spam-tastic!
P.S. On another note..does anyone here ever get ****** Spam? Everytime I check my email there is at least 3 everyday!

There are plenty of other topics you can discuss that might 'imploy' some sort of conspiracy, suggesting there may be problems as a result of registering at this forum isn't one of them.
