I was watching a show called urban legends on the biography channel. They show 3 urban legends and tell that one is based off a true story at the end. It was an ok show but the announcer sucked. The true legend in this episode was the guy that falls down a sewer and is swept 2 miles but he luckily stopped himself before going out to sea. Has anyone else heard of this?

If he had been swept off to sea and drowned I can just picture the funeral. A few eulogy references to his "tragedy at sea". Absolutely no mention of the sewer.

It sounds like some divine force was punishing him for flushing a goldfish down the toilet when he was a kid.

What were the other 2 urban legends on the show?

One was a guy riding on a motorcycle gets his head cut off forgot how it happened but his motorcycle kept going till it passed a truck and the driver had a heart attack and caused a massive traffic accident lol that one was not true. The other was about a failing artist doing a fake hanging pretending he was hung and something about a friend that found him trying to rob his place. I didn't pay much attention to that one the boring announcer kills the mood.

im pretty sure sewage tunnels arnt fast or strong enough to 'sweep u away' also i dont see how it took him 2 miles to garb onto the wall or something wat was he asleep?

Nope he was awake if he was sleeping he couldn't have stopped himself. Some tunnel are very strong. They had him on the show at the end he talking about how he caught himself.

I forgot but it had something to do with it was raining heavily and it was night. I think he just got out of work and his car broke down lol. I can't be positive because I only half payed attention. The part I'm sure of is that he was swept 2 miles and stopped himself before going out to sea. I know it was night and it was raining hard. I think he had gotten out of work and his car broke down. So the only thing I'm not sure of is how he fell in. Imagine if he were married and came home late it would be something like this. Honey my car broke down then I fell in a sewer and was swept 2 miles barely managing to stop myself be going out to sea. Liar you have been sleeping with another woman!!!!
