I wonder if scientists will raise the IQ of this bird that was once thought of as not that smart. What kind of bird is it? Was it ever thought of as a smart bird like the Raven?

I think ALL animals are smarter than we give them credit for, not just this one.

Actually, that is pretty cool. But like I've always said around here, birds are incredibly bright, scary smart. I've seen them do things that would blow most people away.

What...He buys a ten thousand dollar boat, a thousand dollars worth of fishing gear, a twenty thousand dollar pickup truck to tow he boat with, a fifty dollar cooler full of cheap beer, sleeps all day, gets a sunburn, doesnt catch a damn fish and then buys a five dollar fish on the way home from "fishing like a human"?

I bet he tells the other birds that the big one got away too...

I wonder how long it took this bird to realize that the bait attracts the fish? It almost reminds me of man when we where first starting out, the trail and error years... This is quit amazing that its thinking and using its brain on a different level then just flying high and diving down onto its prey...it wasn't taught how to do this by man or a parrot trick like mimicking sound or riding a small bike.....WOW
