What happened to Destination Truth??? Was the season finale last week? They only aired about 5 episodes and showed a repeat last night?

The giant anaconda episode was the season finale.

I liked the Anaconda one. The producer was paranoid the entire time lol...of course I would be too!

It was the typical sci-fi channel short season, but I heard rumblings that the show was coming back again in the summer, but don't quote me on that.

To me the show is really fun, with just the right balance of serious study and humor , the hosts facial expressions alone are worth watching.

I think the SciFi channel was trying to crank out some new episode of shows, to bring in more viewers. They were trying to get new episodes on the air while the writers strike was going on, so that they could bring in more viewers who didn't want to watch reruns of other shows on other channels.
I beleive that is why they had such a short season of DT and GHI, just to get them out there at an opportune time. Full seasons will be in production soon.
Although, if they were smart, they would show new episodes of GHI or DT in the off season of GH. Instead of having one season of all new shows, then a season of all reruns, have a season of new episodes of one show, then while that show is in reruns, show new episodes of a different show. Keep viewers interested.
