These may help in some way.

I'm not too familiar with MOH software, people claim the 1.71 just doesnt have audio alerts and suggest using v1.68.

I'm not trying to be funny here, but is your volume on? The reason why I say this is because a similiar happenstance happened to me, and stupid me, I didn't have my volume on.

<bleeding_heart>,i couldn't get that one to install...but thanks, all i had to do was read the configuration settings with it and it told how to turn off the audible alert so i just did the opposite on mine to turn it on.(which was simple, just had to remove a semi-colon)Thanks. thumbsup.gif

Atlantis Rises,i've done things like that before too.As a matter of fact, when i got the audible alert to work,i was going through my volume settings trying to figure out how to make it louder cause i could barely hear it....then i realized i had headphones plugged in but didn't have them on....... laugh.gif

If you want better sound, Tess: fiddle with the Bass in your volume control. I did this to my car radio and now the sound is completely clear and vibrate, even better than when I first bought it. If that doesn't work, contact Microsoft and download the newest version of Soundmax. That'll up beef it up! I also have another suggestion: Defrag your computer. That might clear up some problems and put back things into their rightful place on your computer to increase the volume intensity.

The sound is fine now Atlantis Rises,i had my headphones plugged in and i didn't have them on,that's why it wasn't very loud.Actually i have a pretty good sound system on my pc....as long as i leave the bass boost off. I have 5 speakers hooked up and the bass boost is just too much and makes it sound crappy.

I understood what you said, just thought I would offer some personal advise from personal experience, but to each his own.
