I know the third eye is attributed to the pineal gland, but, there are still 6 other chakras, and, I'm wondering if there are any physical things for those chakras too? Or is the third eye the only one that atcually has a physical part(pineal gland)...?

There is a chakra often referred to in English as the "solar plexus"...guess where that one is?
The one right below it (Sacral) is occasionally called the "spleen chakra."
The others surely have physical counterparts, but I personally do not know them; they are also not quite so obvious as those three.
Personally I've never felt that the chakra system is simply an ancient, incorrect analysis of glands. I believe that there is some correlation between specific glands and chakra of course, but there has to be for them to have any impact on the physical body.

The chakras are connected by nadis which can be considered like our own personal chi. Each chakra has its own purposes and having them connected is the goal. Once that is achieved the next step is reaching a higher reality by allowing the serpent force to rise from our feet, to the base of our spine, all the way to the crown of the head. The Mexican flag with an eagle eating a serpent is actually a symbol of the serpent forces of the spine meeting the eagle force of the mind allowing a new understanding to occur.
I prefer to just read the Bible, pray, and allow the Spirit of God to work within me.

There are 12 Chakra's in total, we will discuss the 7 primary chakra's. The Chakra's are rotating energy wheels or vortex's, as defined by the Eastern Masters. They are intersections of vital energy flows present in the etherael body and in related locations on the physical body.
1st - beginning with the base or Root Chakra
Physical: Anus, Rectum, Colon
Gland: Adrenals
Color: Black, Red
Energy: Grounding, vitality, physical energy,self-preservation
2nd - Sacral or Splenic Chakra
Physical: Pelvic cavity, Reproductive Organs
Gland: Ovaries, Prostate, Testicle
Color: Red, Orange
Energy: creative forces in all aspects of being. Splenic (located under area of rib cage, at location of spleen) considered my some to be a major chakra. In addition to the attributes of the sacral chakra, the splenic chakra also acts as an open door to both the receipt and assimilation of life giving energies of the universe.
3rd - Solar Plexus Chakra
Physical: Abdominal, navel, digestive organs
Gland: Spleen (?)
Color: Orange, yellow
Energy: Assimilation of experience, center of personal power, ambition, intellect, astral force, desire
4th - Heart Chakra
Physical: Thorasic cavity, heart, rib cage, lungs
Gland: Thymus
Color: Green, Pink
Energy: Release emotionally supressed trauma, soul/heart consciousness, expressing love in action, spirituality associated with "oneness" with "All That Is", compassion.
3rd - Throat Chakra
Physical: Throat, Voice, Neck
Gland: Thyroid, para-thyroid
Color: Blue
Energy: Communication, expressing truth through power of speach, thought and writing.
2nd - Third Eye or Brow Chakra
Physical: forehead between eyebrows, higher brain center
Gland: Pituitary
Color: Indigo
Energy: psychic power, higher intuition, energies of spirit, magnetic forces, LIGHT
(the combined interaction of the pineal and pituitary glands activates this center)
1st - Crown Chakra
Physical: Center Top of head, highest brain center
Gland: Pineal
Color: Violet, White/Gold
Energy: Personal identification with infinite. Oneness with Divine Source. Peace. Wisdom
This is just a brief explanation of the chakra's and their attributes, my hope it that is helps answer some of your questions.
Love & Blessings,

Nice post, Walks In Snow. A lot of accurate knowledge in there.
Only thing I would add is the fact that musical pitches can stimulate the seven Chakra. Depending on tuning/intonation, the stimulation may be greater, less, or otherwise different.
Root: C
Sacral: D
Solarplexus: E
Heart: F
Throat:G
Mind's Eye: A
Crown: B
Just another interesting little tidbit for music geeks like myself. Sorry to everybody else!! hahah.

Two problems, one is that there are no major chakra points within the ankle. Two, chakras are a source personal energy, and last i knew it was impossible to "block" them. Now, there is a way to stop the flow of the energy, using pressure points or accupuncture, but other than that, there is no possible way to cause physical pain or "block" them.
Now technically all the chakra are aligned on the spinal cord, not within the specific parts of the body, so they all have a physical relation.

What type of pain are you experiencing? Is is a stabing pain? pulsing? pressure? Is it isolated or does it spread? Does it become more or less intense as the activity continues? Where on the ankle is the pain?

Yes, chakras can be blocked. It's not like "there's a big metaphysical rock stuck up in your throat chakra" or something. It's more just less energy is flowing through it at that particular time. We say it's "blocked" in english because it's a word that exists in this language. So basically a blockage is a lack of proper flow of energy through the body. A hell of a lot of things can cause it.
Stonewolf is right, there's no major chakra in the ankle region. On the other hand, energy flow is not confined to the central column [basically the seven chakra] by any means. There is a large system of pathways through which energy travels through the entire body. I guess you can think of it as a sort of "energy bloodstream." Traditional Chinese medicine (yes, including acupuncture) utilizes this system of pathways in conjunction with many more things (most of which I admit to having very, very little knowledge of) for a very different healing process than Western medicine.
In addition to the seven major chakra there are also several minor chakra, including 1 in each hand and foot.
Heartagram, I can pretty much assure you that you have nothing to worry about as far as acupuncture negatively affecting you in any way.

There are no major or minor chakras located in the area of the ankle. There are however 12 Major Meridians or Energy pathways (also associated with the 12 Chakras) one of which does run through that area. Meridian's are like main energy highways within the physical body...they are used in acupuncture. The meridian located in the ankle is associated with the organs of the Liver-Gallbladder.
Pain during Meditation can sometimes occur due to posture or pressure...you did not indicate in you post how you meditated...lying down, sitting up, while doing yoga? For the most part deep circular breathing...in through the nose out through the mouth should help establish a rhythm. Meditation raises the vibrational frequency of the body allowing for greater information to be received. Stay in the rhythm and see if you can work through the discomfort rather then trying to stop it.

My mother told me like doing things like Chakra posses evil spirits in your life or something and that freaked me out. Does doing things like Chakras go against my religion such as christianity?

As far as I know there is nothing at all in Christianity that talks about the subtle bodies. Belief in a system of energy pathways in your body does not mean you do not believe in your religion's God.
I know plenty of Christians who do yoga. Whether or not they know it, yoga is a form of meditation. When done correctly it can be nothing but beneficial to one's physical, mental, and spiritual health. This is true of all forms of meditation, and chakra development goes along with this.
I spent about 8 months last year meditating for at least three hours a day, 6 or 7 days a week. This is of course a very extreme example; I would not recommend this practice for a beginner. I currently meditate for about an hour daily; unfortunately that is about all that my daily schedule allows me. I can truthfully tell you that I have never experienced any negativity whatsoever in meditation.

The release, communication, and expression of heart feelings are necessary for one's well-being and good health. It is importabt to be able to speak words "that can't be said" or anger or emotions that can't be expressed. If not
properly done so energy blockages will occur within the throat chakra (for starters) which in turn can lead to dis-ease within the physicial body.
Speaking anger can risk rejection or retaliation. But again angers and emotions held within block the free flow of energies thoughtout the body, keeping energy stuck in negatative ways, and turn pain destructively on the self. Instead try releasing and expressing anger by learning to recognize and speak about your individual needs, feelings , and pain in a safe and positive way. Keep your communications open and flowing. An open throat charka is the means of expressing emotion.
When the throat and heart chakras are open, anger and emotions are freed. Sincerity, self-confidence, self-reliance, and the ability to accept and give love are made possible. Much of the healing involves opening and releasing both centers. You may consider meditating with Rose Quartz. It carries a gentle loving vibration and will assist both your throat and heart chakras.
