I used to sleep with the lights out and i never looked at the ceiling in my room. Not exactly sure why but i never did. About a 6 months ago I did and there was a weird green glowy stuff right above were I was sleeping. So i kept looking up at it and i realized that it shaped the form of a little girl. At this point I was amused so i kept looking and i realized it had a face. So I stared at it even more than before and i swore it moved so i stood up on my bed. I looked up and it was staring at me like it had eyes. i was no longer just a figure that i thought I'd made up seriously saw a little girl on my ceiling. I ran and flipped on the lights and it wasn't there anymore. So I inspected where I saw It and there was nothing on my ceiling that could explain the little girl. I had thought at first i had gotten that glowstick stuff on my roof like i did in my old house but I couldn't see the green glow everytime I flipped the light off only sometimes I would see it. So I turned on my lamp and went to sleep. The next night I asked my 16-year old cousin if she would go and lay in my bed. She asked why. So I told that I was turn the lights out and close the door, and I asked here to stare at the roof and to tell me what she saw. She said OK so I flipped out the lights shut the door and 30 seconds my cousin was screaming and started banging on the door. She drew what she saw cause she's an amazing artist. and it was the exact little girl i saw. I got really creeped out. I never sleep without the lights off anymore.

Taking a picture with a flash would defeat the purpose. I would see if other family members see this also and look for normal explanations first. If you and others get more sightings, then write down dates and times, and people with you if any. Then get a digital recorder try to get EVP's.

Sounds like you saw spirit. Usually when I see spirit, it's actually attached to someone. Certain parts of their body will become blurred, or you'll see glowing figures around them, or the people will start to look like the spirit connected to them.

I've never seen a spirit so I can't comment but having other people experience it and trying to get pics would be very interesting.

When I turn off the lights I see what I will see when I die.....darkness. Nothing more, nothing less.

Wait a sec.. if you can, try and take a digi pic not using a flash or better yet leave a small night light on as far away from the bed as you can or even a hall light or something. Post any pics you take here as it sounds very interesting!

Did you build the house yourself? If not, it could be that the room previously belonged to a child who liked glowy stuff. Or it could be the kind of stuff mix3d in with the ceiling stucco stuff that makes it glitter.
