So we bought tickets for "the forbidden kingdom", but only to sneek into "harold and kumar", anyways we got like 20 minutes into the film (hilarious stuff) before some facist pigs took us out.... but its not one of those theaters were they kick you out of the building so we decided that since we already paid for tickets we might aswell see a full movie...
Forbidden kingdom wasn't bad, alot of throwbacks to classics like the drunken master movies... but the choreography (espically in second half) wasn't mind blowing, and the white male "karate kid" main character was annoying... but I know kids and families will enjoy the film, it just wasn't made with my audience in perspective....

Presumably by "fascist pigs" you mean the people who are given the job of making sure people are not illegally seeing a (quite expensive) movie that they didn't pay for to watch????

I wouldn't mind seeing that Jackie Chan/Jet Li film. It'll be interesting to see it when the chance arrives....

Alrighty, finally got to see Harold and kumar yesterday... it's not as raunchy as the first, does have as many memorable quotes, but it's still very funny and has alot of humor you don't notice at first (harold shows up in a flash back as an emo and gives kumar and his gf a weird shy look, oldy funny_..
Also, it's not really stealing when we pay 8.50 for a movie we don't want to see, and just see another. I think i provided a service (gave them a reason to keep that screen on)..

Umm, so why not pay to see the film you wanted to see in the first place?
Good to hear you finally got to see it though. I only got to see the first one by accident when I got given a copy of it by mistake by a friend who was supposed to lend me a different movie. It was an ok film, but I didn't think it was quite that memorable. The thought of a sequel is..... disconcerting, truth be told

The first Harold and Kumar was brilliant. I saw the second last night, and it was also extremely hilarious. I'm not really sure if I liked it more than the first...it really wasn't as rediculous as the first, that's for sure. Probably because the plot was a bit more serious. But the whole movie, especially the second half, was filled with laughs.
