The Old Changi Hospital

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATED!

okay. i just went to the OCH yesterday (2 may 2008)
it was damn freaky i tell you
i went there with 2 of my other friends
we went to the A&E first but there's nothing much in there
the A&E (accident & emergency) was located on a hill at the very back of some old houses
to get to the main hospital, you need to climb down a flight of stairs from the A&E to get there
the place is 70 years old and its badly vandalized and it is known that ppl do santanic cults on the highest floor
to cut a long story short, we went to the entrance and one of my friend Catherine felt and saw something at the pathway to the entrance
she begged us not to go in there so we stayed outside awhile and i took some pics and this is what i caught on camera

i dunno if its my camera or what but i felt something when i was there.
we wanted to go to the 2nd floor but Catherine chickened out
so i accompanied her at the entrance while my other friend DJ went up
after a few minutes she came down with a blank face expression on her face and told us to get out of the hospital
i knew straight away something was very wrong
we were going down a flight of stairs to go to the main road to catch the bus
when suddenly she stopped and mumbled to herself that she wants to go back there
we thought this was some kind of joke but it's isnt cuz DJ doesn't joke like this and she wasnt her normal self
then Catherine suggested getting her out of the place and to get her to the main gate
it tooked 30 mins to push her from the flight of stairs to the main gate
I think something or someone prosessed her and when i pulled her she pushed me back and i fell
fyi i'm stronger and taller than her
Catherine is like 2 times her size and she too nearly fell
we stopped for awhile and Catherine asked her this:

Catherine: What is your name?
DJ: My name is Xiang(some chinese name)
Catherine: NO YOUR NAME IS DJ!
DJ: HUH?! WHO THE **** IS DJ?!
Catherine: NO YOUR NAME IS DJ!
DJ: NO MY NAME IS NOT DJ!

and she kept repeating she wants to go back there and her heart is there
we managed to pull/push her out of the gate and she fell and lost concious for a few secs
we poured water on her and she woke up not knowing anything at all
i asked her what is her name and she replied DJ. whew thank god.
she said she coudlnt remember a single thing
she only remembered going to the A&E and outside the main hospital
then she said did any of us bit her, we said no.
then she said how come did she have bite marks on her arm
at first i thought it was Catherine's finger nail but her nails were short and so were mine
and the marks doesnt look like finger nail marks
this is the pic of her arm where she got bitten

if you look closely they look like fang marks

There are SOOOOOO many haunted places I have visited just in the little small towns around where I live (which is texas) that I don't think there is a "most haunted" in this country. but I will tell you some of my favorite sites to visit.

Clarks Ferry-Grand Saline.....ferry-man went crazy and killed the kids he was ferrying to school.
Cry-baby well-also Grand Saline.....apparantly people were thrown down this well and there was crying. I'd have to look up the story...but there is a large house foundation and a filled in well. the well has bones it...woooooo.

I'm confused, the Singapore Hospital isn't really haunted??

Just looking at the Netherlands link, it's says that Anne Frank's house is haunted:

When you visit "The Secret Annex", you can feel cold spots in certain areas of Anne's room. If you walk around to the back around midnight, you can see the figure of a young girl(believed to be Anne herself) gazing out the window, motionless. Some have reported hearing a loud sort of rumbling down the stairs leading to the basement and that dates back to an event that occurred while Anne was still living, in which a sack of uncooked beans was spilled down the stairs accidentally.

When you read the book at the end you kind feel, after all she went through, at least she's at peace now. It's alarming to think she's not and that she's still in that room.

There are just way to many highly active places, I have been to many as I started Ghost hunting at the age of five, my most chilly incouter though was many years ago in the Bunkhouse of Cerro Gordo. it is nestled in the Inyo Mountains East of the Sierra Nevada's,

There's a website with some really fascinating stuff on, it's a top ten lists site and on it is the Top Ten Haunted Places in the World.

I'm from England but I'm not convinced Borley Rectory still should hold the number one spot. We should do a poll and get the UM members to vote on what they think is the winner.

True
I think it would be more logical to see Anne at the camp where she died...
But anyhow, those places in the Netherlands are not haunted...

yeah and ive wanted to go for years, you can only go in a group booking. They reckon that everybody who goes there experiences something, they even lock you in a cell for 10 mins in the dark lol
Watchful
Living in the NorthEast of the U.S., I have heard and seen my share of very haunted areas. In Connecticut, probably the most infamous haunted area woud have to be Dudleytown, in the North West area of the state.
Living in New Jersey, I have seen my share, including on the base and the fort nestled right next to it. Although, I do not hear or read much about McGuire AFB, Fort Dix does get a lot of talk about it. In which, I'm not suprised, considering I have even seen something myself. I'm still creeped out by it. On Fort Dix, the abandoned Walson Hospital seems to have wide spread word about it's haunted areas. The hospital closed down during the time I lived there, and I use to go there when it was still open. I still think it's weird, when remembering how I use to glance down at the basement area grills and consider how it seems...off. I didn't realize it's history at that time.

In the midwest, there are several places too. Locally, there's an old mental hospital, (Central State) that closed (in the 50's I believe), that had lots of problems with the residents being tortured by the staff, residents killing each other (a group stoned a person to death in the yard), malpractice, etc. There's underground tunnels that lead to the building that houses the boiler, and supposedly you can still make it to the underground cells with shackles and all still attached to the wall. There's endless accounts of people seeing and hearing things. I went there once at night and I'll never do that again (besides, the police park their cars there). I didn't see anything, but it was extremely overwhelming.

There's also the Hannah House, which was a stop on the underground railroad. There was a fire in the basement where the slaves were hiding / living and they all died. Supposedly you can smell rotting flesh in the basement, there's blood that shows up in one of the upstairs rooms, and all kinds of stuff.

There's a bunch of other ones just like everywhere but these two places always freaked me out. And I'm sure a lot of you have probably heard of both of these anyway.
Solarbite
I live in the south now, so there are alot of haunted areas: The Devils tromping ground, Helens Bridge,Gettysburg, etc... Helens bridge is creepy, never had anything paranormal happen, just creepy.
