Well everyone else is making a dragon thread... so I'm wondering about why people are having the recent interest and also express your views on the existence of dragons. No matter what sense you think of them in the devil or a mythical gigantic creature. Or if you simply think they are creatures that should be left in the realms of games. The dragon in my opinion was a real creature. Before we were on this earth. A great race with a great civilization, I understand most people think it stupid. But I beleive that most people have a feeling within them that these entities do exist... even if you deny it deep down there is something in you that says maybe dragons exist.

No doubt dragons have been with us for a long time. If not as real creatures, but certainly at the least as myth and legend. There is not clear answer of course or there would be no need for this thread or the thousands of others you can find here.

Your notion of dragons as a great race with a great civilization is not one that I share. Not becasue I don't think it is possible but because there is no evidence of such. I would be more inclined to believe the stories come from creatures that do exist on the earth today but we give them other names or, on the extreme end, some dinosaur existed with earlier man but is now extinct.

Unfortunately we've already got two active threads on dragons so I think it would be better to contribute to one of those rather than start another covering essentially the same thing.

The two existing threads are:

Draconic Religions

Dragons
