Hope this is the right section for this

I had an odd dream last night - I was in a large store. A warehouse type store, like a Lowes or Sams. This store had everything from groceries to appliances to electronics. It was the only place a person could shop, there were no "niche" stores (HH Greggs, Lowes, corner grocery store).

Anyways, I went to this store to look at swimming pools. Not the small blow up pools. These were full size, in ground and above ground pools. When I went into the room that had the pools, an employee stopped me and told me I had to remove my shoes and place these plastic bags over my feet. I went over to a pool and to "test" or show me the pool, several employees got into the pool and played around in the water. Like an appliance salesman would show you a washer before buying it.

I decided I didnt want the pool and went to retrieve my shoes. But, my shoes were gone. I looked everywhere but could not find my shoes. They were almost new (I actually bought a new pair of shoes 3 weeks ago and the lost shoes were the ones I had just bought). No one in the store cared that my shoes had been stolen.

I then walked barefoot to the shoe section of the store and found about 6 pair of shoes on the shelf. Only one pair was my size, so I took them and headed to the cashier. Payment was not through cash, credit card or check. Instead, to pay for the shoes, I had to have a retina scan. I placed my eye over the small black scanner and a red light came on, payment not accepted. I tried several more times but could not get the scanner to accept. The cashier told me I couldnt buy the shoes because I had just recently purchased a pair. I remember the cashier saying it wasnt time for me to have new shoes.

I left the store barefoot. Thats when I woke up.

One store, in which we buy everything, food, clothing, everything in between. One huge Government controlled shopping place? Retina scanners in place of cash or credit cards? Limits on what we can buy? Someone stealing my used shoes inside of a store in which they could have stolen a new pair. I wonder the punishment for stealing a new pair of shoes from a government owned store. Perhaps it would be impossible to steal from such a store.

Also, in the dream, while in the store I felt controlled and monitored. Weird.

since you're familiar with a CT forum i could only suggest this info is already floating around in your subconscious..?

that's not to say what you describe is just 'fantasy' ..we can see it all happening around us every day..

i don't know, as a contrast.. imagine if we were constantly bombarded with images and notions of a perfect future.. then i imagine your dream would have been quite different

I never dream of things like this, though I read this forum a lot... I also have many other worries and fears though, a lot of it involving me buying food, as I lost my job.

My dreams are just freaking crazy lately, but let me give you a 2 year old dream I had (2 years ago, not 2 years of age ).

Ok so I am in my room and something catches my eye out the window. It is this... oh I hate to say it lol... flying saucer. It's huge though, not like the supposed (mabey real mabey not) ones you usualy see in photos. This thing was massive, kind of like close encounters of the third kind (which I only saw 6 months ago lol).

So anyway as I am now drawn to my window I notice that not one flying saucer is crashing down to earth at a very steep angle, but more like 50 all at different angles and heights, making them all appear differnt sizes though I could tell they were all the same "model" of craft.

They all land (I didn't see them land)

when I went outside there were these new poles a little bigger than parking meaters. They had speakers on them and they were all white. As I walked past one it sounded out: You can not be outside at this time curfew is 9.00 o'clock!

I go back inside.


This dream goes on and on, but I'll summerize here: these speaker poles ended up being everywhere, and they had differnt things to tell me. They always had rules. "You can't come here you don't have the right clearance." (this was to cross a road). another one said, "hey drop that gun!" (I had gotten a gun to combat whatever was going on), but it was concealed. When the speaker said that two men ran out at me and before I could think I was on the ground weaponless...

Basically their never were aliens, and I never saw these things land, and they looked fake somehow. In the dream I figured it must be some ploy by other people to control me. And that is what it was in the dream. If I could remember this better I could explain it better, but our dreams do seem complimentary. We were both being controlled. I bet this is a wide spread fear nowadays though.




to me my dream means nothing but my own personal fears. Other dreams I have had have meant something more than that, but I could tell when I woke up. They were differnt feeling dreams and they left me shaken.. This dream with the speakers controlling every facet of life just felt like a dream that plays on my fears of other humans.
