Hey Guys,

I read a report earlier on something similar to this but I have been unable to find it. So I'll recount my girlfriends story here.

To make a long story short her and her brothers have had a lot of trouble out of her elderly father abusing his wife and anyone who has tried to take care of him. He's spent time in jail and mental hospitals only to be released presumably because they don't want to deal with him. Girlfriend's neice had volunteered to stay with him and help to take care of him since they couldnt find anyone else to do it. This was this past sunday night 4-27-08 he had been particularly rowdy that nigth so they took his wheel chair from him and his prosthetic leg and left a bedside toilet beside the bed for him in case he needed to use it. A sister in law said this was common practice in nursing homes when people are apt to violence.
Apparently he was making a lot of noise and cussing etc and this worried my gf's neice so she called my girlfriend to come down and stay with her. When she arrived the neice came out and said that he was up and got into gf's car with her. The old man is fragile and can barely walk with his prosthetic leg but apparently had gotten up and was moving around using the bedside toilet as a walker and moving on one leg. This is where it gets weird.

Gf's neice said she saw something big and dark move past the window in the house. Too big for him. Her cell phone was dead so they decided to make a run for her car so she could charge her phone to call for help if needed. Gf fell and sprung her ankle on the way and apperent barely made it to the car before he arrived outside still on one leg and the toilet. They got in the other car and watched him and he stood at the other car for a moment beating on the side of it..then leaning down and back up and down and back up like he was about to fall. Then all of a sudden he stood straight up and she said he was about 7 feet tall but it wasnt her father. It was man with a goats head and horns. This scared them to death and they started praying and that's when they said it let out a horrible moan that they havent been able to describe other than something mixed with a wounded animal and a woman mixed. Both were so scared they couldnt speak for several minutes.

This is where the story gets fuzzy for me cuz she always is overtaken with fear basically all i know is they called the state police and her father got into and altercation with the officer and was once again locked away for 3 days.

In defense of gf she legitimately seemed scared to death she wont talk to her father anymore and refuses to go back to his house. She has always been a simple hard working person who was raised on a farm. I'd be willing to bet she has never even seen a deck of tarot cards so I find it odd that she had came across something to makeup a story like this.

Just by her description and my research in freemasonry I showed her a picture of a baphomet, which I had always had the impresson was a hoax by taxil. When she saw the picture she freaked and said to get it off the computer because it was too similar to what she had seen......

Hi and welcome to UM...Interesting story, but I have no idea what she could have seen...I'm kind of going with the fact that she was frightened and could have imagined all this...For instance when her father came out, could there have been some kind of a shadow behind him, such as a tree, which would have made him appear taller...As far as the goat's head and horns, hmmmm...The scream was just that, a scream, which could have been the father's reaction to what was happening...From your description of him, he does sound like some sort of a monster, in his own way original.gif

Indeed the imagery of a demonic goat has been syncretized from what some believe might be the Knights Templar dabbling with some esoteric beliefs of Islam. Demons though can appear as they wish to the eye of the beholder and can take some forms that might be more angelic and at other times forms that are more ghastly. It definitely sounds like the grandfather has had dabbling into some esoteric mysteries of his own and might have a semi-powerful spiritual guardian or keeper of his very own. This is common in some forms of Satanism, not the I worship myself nihilist type, which turn to the demonic in exchange for power. Of course there are other explanations and beliefs that might account for what she witnessed. Either way it might not be safe for some to be around this man when he dies. Demons crave the flesh and will look for a new and likely nearby host once he passes.

That's pretty creepy. It sounds to out their to be true. Not that I don't believe you, but I also didn't see it myself so, it's hard for me to believe. I wish someone had taken a picture, lol grin2.gif

Sounds more like Pan then it does Satan. Can't be Satan he was the most beautiful of all Gods angels. Of course the picture that Christians have gave people is that of Pan & called him Satan.

however, pan was more of a trickster than a violent creature, though he could get to that, he often started by being a trickster.

Very scary.

I wonder if the the father or any family members were religious to any extent (it doesn't sound like it, but I thought I'd ask anyway).

I wonder how the father would react to religious icons or holy water. From what I understand, I common sign of possession is an aversion to religious icons.

I have a possible theory. It may have been Asmodai, one of four demon crown princes of Hell. He has a goat-like head, (ram to be specific) but, he also has two other heads. One of a man, and another of a bull, neither of which your friend mentioned, and if it was Asmodai, I'm pretty sure she'd have seen the other heads. Anyways, you can look Asmodai up on wikipedia. Other than that, I don't have any other specific demon ideas.

Well they do in more ways than one. Spiritually they want to cling to flesh. When Jesus cast out legion they begged Him to be allowed to go into some pigs. He gave them permission and when they did enter the pigs the poor pigs did not want them in so ran off a cliff into a lake to drown.

QUOTE
Mark 5:9 Then Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" "My name is Legion," he replied, "for we are many." 10 And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area. 11 A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside. 12 The demons begged Jesus, "Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them." 13 He gave them permission, and the evil spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned.

Perfectly possessed people also crave the flesh, to actually eat it, cannibalism. Someone told me their uncle was pretty much out there. That he would start violent fights with others at slight provocation. Stabbings and such with little to no warning. He also had family over and after his wife had a baby there at home he began cooking the placenta, frying it, and then asked if anyone wanted some while he ate it. There is more but I simply told him his uncle was most likely possessed.

There is also the story of a tribe of Mongols who during the Golden Horde when many of the their tribes were conquering their way past Asia, past Russia, and into Europe, that one of the tribes were cannibals. I wonder too if they were possessed.

There is also the Wendigo if anyone is familiar with that.

I was thinking the exact same thing. ): In my opinion, religious people of the Christian sect believe too much the rumours instead of what's actually true. Satan is a luxurious, handsome angel, not a goat-headed behemoth. Sigh.

Demons take the appearance of what you most fear, in many cases, and I guess if you think that's what Satan's supposed to be--a mirror image of Pan--then the demon would acquire that image to weaken you. I don't know what she saw, but I partly believe you and partly don't. It does seem too far-fetched to be true, but so are a lot of other things.

Don't know, but I'd suggest maybe doing some research of some kind with your girlfriend, and maybe it would help her overcome her fears and whatnot.

Personally, I feel for the old guy. Yes I understand that he was supposedly abusive to his family, but how much damage could he do using a toilet as a walker. If I were him and they'd taken away my leg and my wheelchair, I'd be pissed too.
Pissed enough to gain a few feet and grow horns, maybe?
I think maybe the fear of the gf and the niece played a huge part in what they saw , as well as a huge dose of imagination (why they would be afraid of an old man using a toilet to get around is a mystery to me).
Just my opinion and it means nothing of course.
