I just want to get a survey of people who have been shot in the head in a dream.
A. Have you been shot in the head or had your head damaged in a dream to the point where you "die" or you are "unconscious" in a dream?
B. What happened after the initial blow?
My experience: I was in a small room, just a few feet wide and about 10 feet long. I'm in the back of the room, looking forward. 4 other people stuck in front of me. There is a door in the front of the room. A guy with a gun opens it, walks down, says who's first, and then shoots me straight in the head.
I can control my dreams, but I just wanted to see what would happen.
Well, everything went white, and it just stayed white. I didn't wake up, I was just.... there. No feeling, nothing, just whiteness and simplicity.
My 2 cents.
Anyone else like to share?
Sincerely,
llynx

Can't say I've died in a dream or anything like that. Then again, sub-consciously, I'm always paranoid of the whole if you die in your dream, you'll die in real life thing. I know it's just a story, but yeah... Not one of the things you'd wanna risk, eh?

That's a messed up dream.
I've never been shot in the head in a dream, no, but I did once dream I got hit by a car when I was younger. I suppose that's fairly similar. Oddly, I after the impact I sort of had an...uhh.. "out-of-out-of-body experience." I felt myself floating upward above my body [IN THE DREAM], and things were slowly turning white. I woke up at some point during this, scratching my head and going "....huhhhh???"

I can't recall dreaming of being shot. I do vaguely remember being decapitated, but I don't think I even dreamed of that. It's WEIRD.

I only died in a dream once that I can remember, and I was a child and the dream was very surreal.

I've never been shot in the head in a dream, but almost was in real life. ( Crazy ex-husband) But I did dream I was in a nuclear explosion, I hid behind a concrete bunker and was okay. The worst dream was that I touched an electrical transformer box and got shocked to death. I think it did go white for me. I can't remember what happened after. It wasn't fun at all. I felt the super jolt and the shock. But that was about 6 years ago and I am not afraid it will ever come true. I hope you aren't afraid that your dream will come true. And as well, I hope it doesn't come true.

Yeah, a few times. The most vivid one I can remember was being chased by George Bush in an army tank. I was shot in the head by it, and I remember being conscious - I could see and hear perfectly fine, but couldn't move or talk in any way. I was dragged and cramped into a large frozen foods freezer, for reasons I can't remember.

Whether or not it comes true does not matter. If it happens it happens.

A. I'm constantly brought to the point where I wish for death in nightmares, but no matter how much I bleed or how much I beg, it doesn't stop.
B. Once one of those dreams almost had me killed in it, but at the moment before the final strike, I found myself in a room looking at a large mirror. The mirror image over me was covered in black and red vein-like lines and just stared at me. Then I woke up

I once shot myself in the head with a silver revolver during a lucid dream. I wanted to see what would happen(and to kinda prove that you cant kill yourself in a dream). I was sitting on a wall near the road and I just pulled out a revolver and shot myself in the temple. I ended up just turning like a ghost.. I cant remember any other details now because this dream was about 15years ago. I had it written down but I lost it. But yeah.. I ended like a ghost and woke up soon after.
I also once about a year or so ago now, got my ear shot off by a tank. That was pretty freaky because I was ducking near a burned out car and then it pulled up right next to me and just turned and fired. I remember being dazed and confused and thinking for a moment that I must be dead because it was so close(and very real). I remember feeling where my ear was because I couldnt hear and I was feeling it thinking it had been blown off by this tank. I just stood up and wandered around in a daze and I didnt care to hide after that(take cover) because I was kinda stunned. I woke up soon after. I was playing BF2142 quite a lot back then though so it wasnt really a surprise to dream of it.

I was shot 3 times. Once in the stomach, the chest, then the head. The man said I'm sorry before he did it. I was just laying there acting dead until I heard him leave. Then I woke up.
It toke awhile to calm down after that one. I've been chased and had someone trying to kill me before in dreams but that was the only time I've ever been caught.

I had a dream about being shot, but I don't think it was in the head, but in the chest. I'm afraid I don't remember what if anything happened after I'd been shot. It was a bit freaky, as my friend dreamt that I died the same night! But this was about 15 years ago and I'm still alive! I have also dreamt about being in a car crash, but the impact woke me up and I found myself sitting bolt upright in bed.

I know I have, just don't remember the specifics...
I have died in dreams though. One time, I remember in like 3rd grade, I was dreamin I was vine surfing(You know like Tarazan in the movies?)And, I was in a huge forest, high up in trees. And below me, was just an abyss. So anyways, I always kept a pink plastic cup full of wtaer on the dresser above my bed. Anyways, I was vine surfing in the dream, and, all of a sudden, a pink cup comes into ym dream, hits me on the head, and makes me fall...I fall into the abyss and die. I immediately wake up...Only to find water all over me...And the pnik cup had spilled...
I remember, in like 3rd or 4th grade we had a balloon near our stairs...And my mom was sleeping. And, the balloon popped...She wakes up, and tells us that, she just has a dream, that she was cooking fries in the fryer at a diner..And a guy came in and shot her in the head....
lol
But, I have visited Heavan in dreams(Or, seemed like Heavan..) Though, it was almost an L.D. Cause I was aware, and able to think in the dream..I bet I've died other times, jus dont remember,....

Yes, I have dreamed this before. It was a very unpleasant experience and I never want to dream it again. unfortunately, the majority of my dreams are scary and after I was shot, I just sort of fell over, but I was aware. I did not feel pain in the dream, which I could not understand.

I've been shot in the back in a dream... I remember hitting the ground and turning over to face my shooter, he walked up to me.. I couldn't see his face because the sun was in my eyes. Just black shadow for a face. I heard my heart beat in my ears, it was getting slower and slower. I remember thinking "this isn't that bad."

I know how you feel. The dream I had was that vivid it disturbed me for a few days, I woke up shaking like a leaf. I've had a few dreams involving guns but generally about other people being shot and they are equally as disturbing.

You people are strange. You feel displeasure and are disturbed by these dreams?
I'm just... I don't know.... Indifferent? Apathetic?
Everyone is talking about blood and violence and anger and screaming. You people are very odd. If anything like this happens to me in my dreams
I don't really care. I'm just like: "Okay.... whats next?"
But you guys.... wow... so weird.
But thanks for your experiences.
Keep em rolling in.

Well I said they were disturbing because it was surreal to feel it happen, not because it was violent or gory. Also the 2nd dream where I was shot, I watched my family being shot first hence that was disturbing, to feel your families blood splatter on your face in a dream is disturbing.

Hahaha at this isn't so bad.
I was shot in the nugget in a dream on numerous occasions...same dream. One day we went out on patrol and one of the gunners was sniped in the head, which should have been my spot. Things happen for a reason I guess.....but that woulda been sh**ty lol

heres what happens when i die in a dream (sometimes from head shots)
right before i know im about to die, i sorta have a feeling of "ok, im giving up, i dont care, kill me and get it over with."
so im not afraid after that, and have some sort of a satisfaction-serenity feeling.
the blow itself it usually painless, and composed of a sick gut feeling lasting for 2 to three seconds, ascending, then decending.
at that point im dead.
the dream will either end there, or ill just lucidize it and "change" things and say that i didnt die, and things will go back to the part of the dream from far before i died.

Hmm I know there were a couple times I was shot in dreams but there's only two I can remember.
I was in my mom's van, with my mom, driving around in some deserted city, kinda looked like baltimore or something. Went into a parking lot and there was just this herd of guys that just appeared, and they all shot me lol. I woke up right after I got shot, so I didn't experience anything else in the dream.
There was another strange dream though I had when I was little when. I don't remember it exactly, but I know I got shot. And after that, I appeared in this gold honda with my Dad, everything had a golden glow to it, and I asked my dad if i was dead or something like that, and all's he said was "Well son..." than I woke up. The strange thing was, a couple years later, my Dad bought a new car. And wouldn't you know it, it was the SAME exact car that was in my dream years before. Of course for awhile I thought I was going to get shot in that car or something.
