i've lived here for about five years, and the only two/three crazy things i know of include the Skunk Ape, black dog, and Coon Hill Cemetary.
they all tie into one other actually. if you drive up to Milton(i hate that town) you will pass a tom thumb gas station and turn on this road, now you are suppose to see this black dog that is about 3-4 feet in height with red eyes. if you see it you are not suppose to go down that road, but if you dont see it, by all means adventure time! but if you do see it, and go down the road, you will see it again once you get to the cemetary.
so we didnt see it on our first trip(or any of the following ones) so we go down this road. this road goes through the woods and is made of dirt and its very eerie there, and after driving around for a bit, you come to a clearing. its a small path surrounded by a field of very tall grass and you walk a little bit to Coon Hill Cemetary.
when you walk in, everything suddenly goes very quiet which scared the piss out of me, because before you could hear all the crickets and what nots. you are suppose to be able to walk along the outside wall of the cemetary, and you will get pushed off. i didnt do this because i was soiling myself metaphorically. There is also a swinging rope noise in the nearby outcrop of dark woods right near it. supposedly a girl hung herself out there. it was a very eerie place, but nothing REALLY crazy has happened yet and i've been there a few times.
if anyone has any more urban legends or myths etc etc. about this area please let me know, because i like to adventure with my friends.
