A zoo would be an awful place to go.
#1 most zoos are in populated areas
#2 it's a confined area,with only a few ways out
#3 if the animals ate the zombies,they would be zombie animals

#1 is the biggest issue.You don't want to be anywhere near civilization.I can't stress that enough.

Depends on what type of zombies? Are we talking the slow Romero zombies? Or the modern 28 Days Later zombies?
With the slow ones, I think common sense and not acting frantic would help you get away from them. As for the fast zombies, I would prefer a gun to the head.

Pretty much anything would be effective if zombies were real. They're dead bodies, falling apart. Hell, you could probably push them and they'd fall over and turn to dust.

if zombies took over the world like in i am legend then they would not be just dead bodies and they woud not be easy to kill either, even if it was like any other zombie movies, they would still not be like dust, and i don't think that soap would be effective against zombies. it might be effectibe against your mom, but not against zombies

If you know how to sail for long periods of time(if not for the rest of your life) then that's an excellent idea.You couldn't keep it moored or else teh zombies would definitely get on board,once you ran out of bullets and energy.Then it's game over.Unless you're a very good swimmer.

Actually you wouldn't have to be a good swimmer if all you had to do was swim from the docks to the shore.Most docks or piers aren't that far out.My bad.But of course once you got to shore there would be zombies waiting for you so idk,you'd be trapped,unless you could swim a down the coast and find a safe place to get out of the water.In that case,you would have to be a good swimmer.So nvm it's not my bad you do have to be a good swimmer

My advice,don't go for sailboats,but if you have to,at least get them out to sea and away from the zombies.Lol.

i think that the guy in i am legend did a superb job. he would have lasted alot longer if it weren't for 2 things

1) he tried to commit suicide b/c his dog died
2) the person who saved him went strait to his house and the zombies found him

he made a great decision to tell the girl and boy to get inside the hideout and take the antidote to the place thingy

i'd try to defend against zombies as close to the way he did it as i can.

I agree with alsaka,but the problem is transportation.It would be too dangerous to drive there,since you would be on roads(and roads lead to people,thus zombies).An airplane would keep you safe once you're off the ground,but what about landing to refuel?You would have to land at airports(which means people,which means zombies),plus you would have to go to an airport to get the plain in the first place.A boat would work best probably,since you don't have to refuel(if it's a sailboat),but you would have to bring plenty of water with you,enough to last the whole trip,which is a lot.You would have to go ashore now and then to get water,which means a possibility of zombies.What if you don't know how to sail or fly?Then you have to walk,and depending on where you live,that could be an arduous task.

So i think,if you live near alaska,then walk,if you don't live near alaska,then just go to the nearest mountain range,climb as high as you can,and keep moving north.Since the 2 main mountain ranges in north america go all the way up into canada,you can just follow them north till it gets too cold for the zombies.If you already live in the far north,you dont have to worry

or just eat fish eyes. they are a good source of water you can get everything you need from a fish

All you need is a suit like Ironman and zombies won't even be a problem.

I agree, a long range rifle would be key, then an assault shotgun with a barrel magazine for medium range, then i'd take a machete for melee, faster than a chainsaw and you dont need gas.

But would you be able to get enough?Each fish you catch only has 2 eyes,and those eyes are pretty small.I guess it would be possible,but extremely hard.

or you could just get the fresh water from where the fish were swimming

or you could fill up a large bucket with saltwater, but another smaller bucket inside with a weight in it (to keep it down), put a plastic cover on top with a small weight on that (to make an angle pointing to center of smaller bucket), and leave outside in hot weather and wait for it to condense and drip into the smaller bucket. vwala freshwater

I will get the most lethal weapon to help me.Through some way get the zombies out of the cities into a open area and have the military on stand-by.Then then fire-bomb the living hell out of them or just use conventional explosives.After that I would walk into the kill zone and kill any dead zombie still alive .After some fun time return to my lovely home and watch the magnificent sunset on my front porch drinking a nice hot cup of coffee thinking of the fun times I had shooting and mutilating zombies.
