I watched 'The Grudge' the other day and couldn't get through the entire movie cuz it scared me so bad.My #1 fear(as far as ghosts go) is demonic children.Oh lord i didn't sleep well that nite.Anyone seen the second one?I wanna know if i should watch it or not

I only saw the Grudge for the first time a few weeks ago. It's truly a great movie and scary indeed. It's one of the very few horror movies that I actually considered scary. I haven't seen the 2nd one yet though, but now you mention it, I might watch it tonight.

My friends are super scared of the grudge too ! Im not though, i think its silly I thought grudge one was scariest though grudge two was a load of poo

Watch the Japanese versions. There is actually four, Ju-on: The Curse 1&2 and Ju-on: The Grudge 1&2 they are also making a part 3. The Curse ones were made straight for video and the The Grudge ones were made for theatrical release. They are basically the same story lines. I remember being at the theater alone with me and my wife to watch the American remake of The Eye. It was kinda creepy since no one else at all was in the theater. I remember when I watched the Japanese version of the The Eye at home and had to turn on all the lights lol

Really? I hated ring 2. I hated the eye too. I was so mad my niece made me go watch it with her. I wanted to see No Country For Old Men. . .but nooooo. I've never actually prayed for a movie to be over before, but I actually did during The Eye. I think the Japanese versions tend to be better. .. maybe because they are the 'originals' and they just have that 'original' feel to them I don't know. . . I never saw the Japanese version of the Grudge, but someone told me it was much better than the american version. I did see Ringu however, and I thought it was better than the american one. . .but, like I said, maybe its just because I'm partial to original versions of films. . .except King Kong. . .I liked the new one better

Interesting why we get so scared of movies ? Its not like we dont know that its just a movie, that its only shown on a flat screen in front of us, that its actors and actresses and the whole thing was created by men for entertainment only. Why do we get so scared ? And why even after we have turned it off and get back to normal life we still feel scared for sometimes days afterwards ?

Great films =) I've got to admit, I find that girl from them VERY disturbing. (That's probably the point, lol)

I haven't seen the grudge I saw bits and pieces of it but not enough to get what was going on.

I saw the second ring movie. I was disappointed that it wasn't as I expected it to be. It was remotely interesting not scary.

Whoa, there's a whole slew of AWESOME Asian Horror films regarding demon kids-- The last one I saw was "Phone." The girl in there did a magnificent Job.
I highly recommend " The Shutter" and " The Eye" (Gin Gwai). Not so much about small children, but good gawd, the Asians have mastered the HORROR in HORROR.

The Grudge bored the piss out of me and both the Ring movies just made me laugh, haha.

A friend of mine recommended the Ring to me, so that night me and a buddy of mine went to see it. We were so disappointed at how un-scary it was. We called the friend who recommended it up and said, "7 days.....till you GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK!!" Haha, she was upset that we didn't like it. But it's cool. To each their own. If others enjoyed these flicks, awesome. Personally, I didn't. Oh well.

I thought all children were demonic. GRIN.
