Asteroth
I searched for 'The Su' and the only thing I could find was a type of fighter plane that's called the Su. I've never heard of it either.
veledran
We can't even be sure of the spelling unless we get some more information.

It is exactly like looking for ____ at the moment.

Can you tell us where you first heard of it?

I thought this sounded familiar.

QUOTE
The Succarath is a creature that has the head of a woman and a body that is half wolf, half tiger, and has a green palm leaf for a tail. It lives in the mountains at the tip of South America. The Succarath will kill its young rather than surrender them to humans, which is why you will never see one in a zoo.

The Succarath is also known as the Su.

QUOTE
Argentinean paleontologist Professor Florentino Ameghino suggested that the Su was a species of giant ground sloth which had somehow survived the extinction of large mammals that swept the world, and p0articularly the Western Hemisphere, at the end of the Pleistocene or Ice Age.

That sounds more like an ancient Greek mythical creature, rather then an urban legend that has the possibility of existing. The head of a woman, and a body that is half wolf, half tiger, and has a green palm leaf for a tail? No way... that pretty much kills it for me.
SirRedeye
i found something..

but not su (just kidding tongue.gif )

LoveSuxLoveIsWar
You could have at least put up a link, even if it only says something along the lines of, "The Su, Cryptid.' That would be more informative than your post.
