biblicly speaking no they cannot the soul departs retuns to God who gave it and there placed on the far side of the gulf awaiting the final judgement,demonds are part of the fallen beings that left there firs habitation during the original rebellion in heaven and went where they were not supposed to go,they are abasitors so to speak of lusifer

i think u have a point yet karma isnt a part of this nor reincarnation,
the genorality is demonic realisation lies deep within each and every person,
a person in controll of their lives can subcontiously keep the demon at bay if you will,
yet some one who is completely regardless for theirs or anyothers saftey and good will
are more than likely to remain earthbound after death and due to these people not being in controll of their human life
they can become almost psycotic in nature once they have died
so in answer to your question ,yes maby there has been demonic entitys before mankind
yet right now the choice between good and evil was made when you were alive,
unless you think death is a second chance at redeeming your self??
I say no because there is no reason to believe that evil people are actually evil because good and evil are soley based upon perspective and opinion furthermore there is no reason to believe Boogymen exist and also no reason to believe that these so called 'evil men' will turn into 'Boogymen'.

Tell me, do you think God can see the difference between an evil person a nd a good one?
Remember he sees the very heart of our beings, I'm absolutely vertain that he can differentiate between them, even if we can't. That means it is not a matter of relativity, but a matter knowing the hidden heart...
And naturally, if God exists, so do all his other creations... including the spiritual ones you consider to be fanciful.

I've felt and seen them too.
