Can evil humans become demons after they die? Gradually of course; because as I understand, you have a free will even in the spiritual dimension. So even after dying, it's your choice to go the good way or the evil way.

Or, this is not possible because demons have existed from the beginning of times and they cannot be created, they have always been there?

Is the following statement true? Does not matter how evil you are when you are alive, because when you die you reincarnate and have a chance to redeem yourself. Let’s say, you reincarnate as a very poor person in Somalia and spend your life in starvation to pay your karma.
Mr Walker
The only way for you to answer this question to your true satisfaction is, sadly, quite a difficult and time consuming one. You need to read all the religious and other perspectives on souls, reincarnation, death and the afterlife. Then you have to find the one which resonates with both your logical and spiritual self..OR if you are intellectually lazy, i can tell you my truth and save you all that trouble.

When humans die their body and soul go to the grave with them. However, there is an entiy which is physically capable of resurrecting the soul and giving it a newly created body.

How he does this, and when, is open to interpretation.

Personally, i like the bilical version, that he leaves all souls asleep, then resurrects them in 2 batches. Those who will live a new physical and immortal life, and those who will be put to death a second time, their bodies and souls utterly consumed, because they were not safe to grant immortality to, in their spiritual condition.
Ghost It Notes
Evil people will go to hell. There won't be any roaming the earth for them. I basically agree with Mr. Walker. The spirits that roam the earth are demons who were from the beginning of time. They lie and pretend to be other people, dead relatives, etc...

Though I'm a sceptic, from what I understand demons are not bad people when they die. Contrary to what Hollywood often shows us.

Also, I don't believe we have free will when we die. Any other's input on that? I think it was missed by the others.

Any chance we can get this merged with the one that was also posted in the Spirituality vs Skepticism section?

Roger that.
Free-will is a 2 piece package, the 2 pieces are
1) Making a choice
2) Accepting the consequences of making that choice
I feel that as dead people, we're powerless to make anymore choices. So nah, we definitely don't have free-will if we die!

Also, I believe that spirits (people who've passed on) will then have full knowledge of every consequence that follows every action a humanbeing commits.
But by then, it's too late. The point in being human is making the right choices, building your knowledge of what consequences follow - and knowing when to avoid those wrong choices.

Evil people can't become demons when they die.. Whoever runs the show in hell is already overstaffed, they are just looking for prisoners and no more employees! LOL

Some people do not understand that part of free will is accepting the consequences of our choices. They are real and cannot simply be changed for we had the chance to make our choices and continue to make them.

I don't really believe in demons in the traditional sense because I'm not Christian. ..but I do believe that if a mean person dies, they will continue to be mean and nasty as a spirit.
