In the absolute literal sense, yes. But the actual context of "he is gone forever" in that story is "if she doesn't do something, she'll never see him again." That story had a few flaws, though, like the idea of love at first sight, which I think people just confuse for 'the hots'.

I guessed that she became insanely depressed and took anti depressants and became unstable and that is why she killed her sister. I guess I'm not a psychopath either.
