WOW ohmy.gif

Nice find Shrini thumbsup.gif

What I believe is captured in these
photos is the extremely rare event
known as "ball lightning"

We were able to see this once in
Nebraska in 1987, even captured it
in a photo!

it began as a static electric charge
in a wheat field, and became a large
blue ball of static energy which seemed
to roll around the field.

after about 30 seconds it shot up in the
sky leaving a vapor trail much like the
photos seen on the page you shared with
us.

I think that is what this is!

But of course that is just my opinion!

it's missile!

There is an explantion link on another pag.
SilverCougar
Thought so! Lightning dun usually have smoke running along side it.

Damn that's one freaky missile trail.

Looks like god let one Rip w00t.gif user posted image

On a more serious note;

It looks like a Vapour trail highlighted by the light top left. It aint lighting its not sharp enough kinda curvy .

Still cool though thumbsup.gif

Krissa
I've seen other pictures of ball lighting and it kinda looks like it to me. It's really cool though.
Great Big Sea
I agree it (to me) looks like thunder and lightning.
IrishBlood
well, its obviously not a rocket. rockets all go in a straight line. and at a complete angle unless you r right underneath it. But if it was real windy the winds could have deformed the contrail. more likely something made by mother nature...since there r no such thing as UFO's or Aliens...
Phantom
Well, not to burst anybody's bubble. But here it says it was in fact a contrail from a missile launch.

So you havent actually bothered to read the thread and found out that we actually know it is a rocket because it explains it on the website.
As Phantom has pointed out for you, again.
IrishBlood
ooops just saw that. thanks metal head tongue.gif
Athlon64
I suspected that it would be a rocket of some type launched from Vandenberg AFB.
