Almost everyone that I know who is deeply involved in religion refuses to believe that aliens exist. They seem to all agree with each other that the aliens are in fact demons. I am a Christian and I believe that because God created us, God could easily have created an infinite amount of other worlds/peoples in other solar systems. Does anyone know of anything in the bible that says God did or didn't create aliens? Also do people of other religions believe in aliens?
Hi,
I can answer this one. Personally, I'm a Raelian and we follow the prophet Rael, who was given a message by an alien in 1973. This alien explained that all life on Earth was designed by advanced scientists from his planet and that they were mistaken for Gods. They kept an eye on humanity and educated select people to spread love and harmony on the planet (the prophets - Moses, Jesus, Buddha and many many more). In fact, the religious texts are nothing more than eye-witness testimonies and stories about these contacts with our creators.
Thats being said, in the Bible there are many passages that refer to these creator aliens, however they have explained that whilst we were the first humanity they have created, there are two other humanities that they created out there. There were also numerous humanities that they made, but their humanities failed for various reasons.
Here's an excerpt taken from Rael's book 'Intelligent Design - Message from the Designers' which you can download for free at www.rael.org
The alien who contacted Rael is called Yahweh (who is the leader of these people who created life on Earth). Yahweh is the one talking in Rael's book at this point:
"In St Matthews gospel, Chapter 13, there is an important passage where Jesus explains in a parable how the creators left their planet to create life on other worlds:
'Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up. Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forewith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scortched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some feel among thorns; and the thorns sprung up and choked them. But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him here.' Matthew 13:3-9
All this is an allusion to the various attempts to create life on other planets - and three of them failed. The first failed because of the birds, which came and ate the seeds. In fact, this was a failure caused by the proximity of the planet in question to the creators original planet. Those who were against the creation of people similar to themselves saw a possible threat in the experiment and therefore went to destroy the creation.
The second attempt was made on a planet too near a sun that was too hot; therefore, their creation was destroyed by noxious radiation.
The third attempt was made "among thorns" on a planet, which was far too humid, where the plant life was so powerful that it destroyed the equilibrium and the animal world. This world consisting of only plants still exists.
But the forth attempt was finally successful on 'good ground'. And it is important to note that there were three successes in all. This means that on two other planets, which are relatively near to you, there are living beings similar to yourselves who were created by the same creators.
'Who hath ears to hear, let him here'; those who are able, understand."
Okay, so you can see that in the Bible there are traces of the truth, but Jesus had to speak in parables in order for the people of the day to understand (even though he was speaking in a code of sorts) so that we would be able to put 2 and 2 together in this age, where we can understand.
What do you think?
