I used to get up in the middle of the night and make beaded jewelry in my sleep - no joke.
Sitting up is nothing.

You see, that is the kind of dedication and entrepreneurship that you just dont see these days. Kids these days only want to work 8 or 9 hours and knock off for the day and go home and sleep, but oh no...you blow the curve out of the water and go home and work IN YOUR SLEEP. They say that the American spirit and drive are dead, but I dont think so. You are going places. You may not know where you are when you get there and wake up...but hey...
Sorry, kidding Purplos...
I used to walk in my sleep too. Not a real big deal unless you find yourself doing something dangerous or wandering out of the house. At the time I lived in a loft above a hand grenade factory, so it caused a couple of embarrassing incidents and my renters insurance didnt want to cover the damage, but that is another story...
Sitting up in bed might be a bit frightening, but it is common and treatable...and if you notice that it keeps happening or gets worse (Wake up in another part of the house, hear a deafening explosion and see your neighbor car burst into flames) you might want to talk to your family doctor.
