Yep, I saw the Animal X ep it refers to.... can't remember anything about it though sorry. Just a bigfoot maybe.

Yes i have heard of the goatman. Supposedly he is a mix of man and goat and is suppose to live in the virginia/maryland area. Story goes that he was a military/goverment experiment that went wrong. When they could no longer control him he broke loose from a top secret military location and began living in the wild. He pretty much has become sort of a boogeyman character associated with enterupting teenager's at remote lover's lanes and scaring the hell out of them. Whether this is true or not i don't know but the mystery goes on!

Did they sort of base some of the silver bullet movie on this?, sounds familiar, moving on, This would be the first time that I've heared of this. But I agree does sound very similar to a hirked bigfoot.

That's freaky....I was looking through the crypid threads for something on the goatman only on thursday. Just did it on a out of the blue whim...was thinking about making a post asking for some info on it...weird

It is interesting although I find the story is more Jersey Devil like than Bigfoot like. The funny thing is though I can't for the life of me but the Goatman like I buy Spring Heeled Jack, The Jersey Devil or other stories of this nature. I just feels made up or something.

Maybe it's just me though.

no, its not just you. this is interesting, but a government screw-up? how did the government end up with a half goat half man mix? that would be a little out of their range of interest. bomb experients,yes. but not this.

Both older posts on the subject, one I started awhile back myself. Very interesting story, but I don't think their is anything there unless it is a possible bigfoot or something. I also think it'd make a good horror movie villian.
