Am quickly running out of time so will briefly say that story starts with family moving to Alexandria and then there is his temple visit at age 12.

He is seen reading to groups at various other points through the story with a different interpretation of texts from those common to the area, as one would expect from a different school of thought in the diaspora and why the Septuagint was seen as needed in the first place, because of the concern of differences arising.

The only time Jesus (of nazareth) is ever mentioned going to Egypt is during the time of Herod's slaughter of the infants. Also such a figure of the ancient world would be noted as having studied at the greatest library of the ancient world, and the jewish diaspora(s) occured before and after Jesus's time.

There are many cool and intesting mysteries. Atlantis, the Mary Celeste, the Ark of the Covenant, and the disappearence on Roanoke Island are my favorites.

Maybe, but a quick search of two versions of the Bible itself turned up only four references to Alexandria.

If you were a Jew fleeing Israel into Egypt then you went to Alexandria where there was a large, wealthy, and powerful Jewish population to hide in and be sheltered by. A lot of Jews fled there to get away from Herod who got crazier the older he became.

Really the point to quibble over is whether or not his parents put/kept him in school there rather than raise him inside Israel and to me the clear indication based upon his behavior at 12 and later is that they did.

They were likely inspired by the words in Hosea, "I will summon my son out of Egypt."

If you are looking for a historical Jesus and follow the patterns of the people around that time period, to me this is the most logical sequence of events based upon points of the story.

If he had been raised in the Palestinian school of thought there would have been no conflict in teachings and no accusations that those in Palestine had changed and twisted the scriptures, and he would not have had access to Jewish works they did not wish others to have access to that would contradict their teachings and interpretations.

A reasonable opinion to hold, maybe, but that's not what you said:

They cannot spin the bible story to the point of actually changing the text.
The story clearly states he was amazingly literate at age 12 and that he came from Alexandria.

You said it was in the Bible. It's not.

I didn't remember it being in there but, hey, it's the Bible and I don't read it all that much!

My favourite would have to be Atlantis, followed by the Floods and Greek myths.
