TYLER, Texas — A jury again needed just four minutes Thursday to convict an organizer of an East Texas swinger's club where prosecutors say young children were forced to perform sexual acts for an audience.

Shauntel Mayo, 29, faces life in prison after being found guilty on charges that she forced three siblings, ages 7 through 10, to have sex with each other or perform sexual acts for club members who paid to watch.

In March, Mayo's 36-year-old boyfriend, Jamie Pittman, was also found guilty in four minutes. He was sentenced to life in prison after jurors deliberated for just two minutes.
Some jurors cried during testimony in Mayo's three-day trial, the Tyler Morning-Telegraph reported.

Mayo was convicted of engaging in organized criminal activity and two counts of sexual performance of a child. The punishment phase was to begin later Thursday.

During the trial, the children testified how Mayo and other defendants began teaching them at age 5 how to dance and perform sex acts. They were also given drugs, which the adults called "silly pills," to help them perform.

Four other defendants in the case are awaiting trial.

The reason why is that most pedophiles where molested them selfs.

So what happens is a pedophiles molests a child that child becomes a pedophiles that pedophiles victims become pedophiles. Givin its not always true not every victim becomes a molester but it allot of cases it happens.

I've heard that theory as well. They also say that most social service workers (i.e. Child Protective Services) are victims of child abuse in some way or another, so that shows that victims sometimes turn the other direction to protect others from such horrible circumstances.

Yeah, the people paying to watch are just as guilty. They are all a waste of space. Why pay to keep them in jail? We already are overpopulated, get rid of the freaks who prey on kids.

Goalie, not that I think your anger at this incident is inappropriate, but I think your implication that its perpetrators be anally raped certainly is, especially with the few other comments that yours generated. And I don't think the idea of a heterosexual rape would be met with quite as much glee.

Let me make something clear, I understand completely how upsetting this story, but that is not an excuse to write vile and disgusting things in response. We are a forum that has younger people too so act accordingly please...

As disturbing as the story is, I think that the links provided to help locate predators in your community is a helpful tool and worth keeping the thread open for so that people have access to that, but if the thread devolves again into what I just saw, it will be closed down.

I highly doubt these people will last a life sentence in jail. If you think the general public finds this abhorrent, try other people in jail. They won't last long. A friend of the family worked at San Quentin prison as a guard and he told us some failry unsavory stories about what is done to people who harm children and assault is the least of their worries.

Lately, you seem to have little quirks with my posts. When it comes to peophiles I have no remorse in making a statement. And that's what it was, a statement. It wasn't posted for glee, Jaylemurph, it was posted because in our jails, this is what usually happens to these kind of criminals. I don't condone any kind of rape, it makes me sick.

Someone said they are a gift to ' bubba ' , actually even bubba dont like them. People who are in prison dont tolerate someone harming children in sexual acts. I wont go into details as to what some prisoners do to child molesters, but I will say that for the people who do things to kids, wont have a nice vacation while they are in jail, its not going to be easy for them while they are there.

It is most disturbing that a group of these like minded individuals exist. How many are parents that have not been caught, if they partake by viewing, they obviously have no problem with such a disgusting act.

What I also find really disturbing is that one must get a license to drive a car. To have a child - no worries, free reign. People like this do not deserve the chance to have children. They should both be made sterile, in addition to the punishments (which will not be severe enough) so they cannot bring others into the world and harms way.
