Bear's Quest
I vaguely remember...

back in the late 70's or if not, the very early 80's.

It happened to be caught on camera at a wedding as the bride and groom were about to place rings on each others finger, when the bride happened to have disappeared in front of everyone that attended. In amazement and frieght, everyone jumped from thier seat and the groom who held the hand of her soon to be wife, looked around dumbfounded as to where she was.

My t.v. news said it will bring us further details, but never did. And I never heard about since.

I always wondered if this really happened.

Are you sure it was on the news and not a fictional show commercial?

lol how lucky is the guy that she dissapearedright in front of him, guess when the preacher asked "speak now or forever hold your peace" was taken to another level.

I don't remember this one at all and since at the time I would have already been a Fortean and Paranormalist for a quarter-of-a-century you'd think I would have noted and remembered it.

But are you certain the bride didn't simply develop last-minute cold feet and RUN out of the sanctuary?

There was also that much more recent episode in Georgia, four or five years back, where the bride-to-be fled her home a couple of weeks before her intended wedding, re-surfacing in Texas a month or two afterwards. She was then prosecuted for all the wasted man-hours she'd cost the cops investigating her disappearance.

I was in my teens when this happened and the video looked real by the way family members, friends and guest reacted when the bride vanished before thier eyes.

I remember watching the news and waiting, and it mentioned nothing about it. I later felt it might of been pulled off the air so as not to scare anyone...

Every now and then I get a flash-back, and to wonder and say -if it was real.

Ugh, doncha hate that? I have memories of standing in the lineup at the bank with my mom and waking up leaning against some other lady, still in the bank lineup. I don't know if it was real...

I hope someone here remembers the bride story as it sounds fascinating!

Sure it wasn't an episode of the Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits?

What city do you live in? If it was part of the news then perhaps we can search that? Although this event would predate the internet so idk.

I never have seen a "Doctor Who" series until recent and definitely not that episode.

This happened when I was a young teenager.
