I like Alice from the Resident Evil trilogy. I know some people hate the movies but I love how she comes back stronger every time, kicks butt and they don't over sentimentalize her because she's a female. She's great.

I would have to go with Laurie Strode from Halloween.

She takes on Michael Myers throughout the course of a whole movie, Michael gets shot, he flees, Laurie gets taken to the hospital only to have to deal with Michael AGAIN that very same night in Halloween 2. Talk about a crappy couple of days.

I second that! Reggie Bannister has to be one of the best. I also liked R.J. Macready in The Thing. I have to say Ash was cool too but not as cool as Regg.
