I hate spiders....so much. I wish I could kill them all, I wish they would go extinct so I could take the duck tape off all of the furniture and doors in my room.

That's a very old picture. hehe
I love spiders. There was a fairly large wolf spider running along my livingroom floor the other night. It was beautiful. I caught it and let it sit in a glass by me for around 45 minutes while I watched Moonlight. I let it out in the garden and it scurried off. It was lucky to have its life and all its legs in a house full of cats, and I was lucky to see it with all of the lights out. So pretty.

I hate bugs, all up in your face buzz'n and eating you. Spiders eat bugs, therefore spiders are your friend. If you killed all spiders, you would have a different opinion about what is "bugging" you. What's bugging you ... not spiders.
Bet that beast was fun getting rid of. Looks like it would eat birds.

If you knew how beneficial spiders are to the ecological balance you wouldn't be wishing those things... truth.
My daughter has arachnipobia. How she got it is beyond me. I've been telling her for years that 'spiders are your friends'. Her reply is always 'no mother they're your friends, not mine.'
It amazes me some of the reactions to things that are 1000's of times smaller than an adult person. How can such a small thing instill such fear? Especially when they're as beneficial as they are...
Personally, I love the little critters. The only things that are killed around here are mosquitos and flies. Spiders are never harmed - they're appreciated. A few years back I was trimming some rose bushes and stuck my head into a nest of babies...I managed to save most of them and put them back (they were mostly grouped above my left eye)...still, a few went down the drain when I showered. Poor little guys.
If you watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy - I guess you closed your eyes when Shelob made her entrance... ; )

Spiders destroy much more than they theirselves are a threat.
Wolf spiders are my favorite, such awesome emerald eyes.
One too, can tell much by their webs, signs of nature.

What you like wolf spiders too? I have spent many hours observing them, and throwing them candy(bugs) to see them eat. I miss my childhood.

There was a huntsman on my sons conforter when he was two. I went to check on him and I thought he had a rat in his bed. When I found out it was a spider I was relived, but he still slept with me that night!

Careful with what you wish, the death of spiders would cause much more horrorific terrors.

Trust me, they can instill paralyzing fear. You can't understand a phobia unless you live through one. I am a full grown man. I can pick up mice, rats, snakes, bugs, and none of that will bother me whatsoever.
But now, throw a spider on me and I would scream and cry like a school girl.

Yeah, put a little collar with spikes on it, and get a sign that says "Beware Of Spider." I bet that would deter more people than a guard dog...

Aw, it's so cute.

It's like, just sitting behind the clock, thinking that no one can see it, but instead it's cute little (okay... big XP) legs are sticking out.

I think it's cute.

It thinks it's being all sneaky and what not. ;P ...Of course if I saw something like this in my house, I would probably scream and run out, but still.
