Has anyone else noticed the new feature located on our profile page? It's titled "About me" and it looks pretty cool.

You know how long it took me to figure out how to write my personal statement? Now I have to do more about myself? Good grief! LMAO!

I saw it... Not a huge fan of it. I used my profile to track my recent topics instead of jumping forums and digging through them as well as tracking other members topics easily.

We already had a spot in our profiles for a "Personal Statement" and then "Interests", so not sure what this new feature would add anyways.

I didn't notice that ...Imma go see!

This change applies to member profile pages, its a new feature added in a recent update of Invision Board, one useful thing about it is that it shows a person's signature in their profile which wasn't possible before.

A 'view member blog' link has also been added to the drop down menu when you click someone's username on the left hand side of one of their posts.


You can still do that, on your profile click the "Topics" tab to bring up your recent topics list.

I believe a significant update to the blog system is due out in the near future.

It took me a while to understand what the OP was talking about. Until I viewed Saru's post.

Changed the title to remove any confusion over where the new section can be found.

Oh, I know. Just lazy. Then sometimes it takes a bit to load up the topic list. Least it's no where near as bad as waiting on recent post comments in time spent.

Is this verson 2.3.5? it seems like it was a small upgrade from the older verson. glad it didn't messup the skin.

Yep it was mostly a maintenance and bug fix release.
