Do any of you ever have an experience where you remember that you did something, but can't remember if it's real or a dream you had?
I get that quite often, and it puzzles me every time. I don't remember if it really happened or not...

It happens to me too, usually it's a conversation I thought I had with somebody, but it was just a dream.
I don't think there's any cause or meaning behind it, it's just a dream that is so much like common, everyday life, it gets jumbled up in the memories of our busy day-to-day.

When I was young I could have sworn that in one epidoe of the Batman cartoon Batman became an evil Hulk-like monster. I later realised I had dreamt up that bit, hehe

I have had conversations with people and ten minutes later asked them if the conversation happened lol.

There's something from my youth that always seemed real to me, but it's a memory none of the others involved can recall. It's pretty fractured at this point, but I'll put down what I remember.
I'm at my aunts house with two older cousins and my slightly younger brother (16 months). I'm 4 or 5, I know this because I'm old enough to be allowed to wander on my own on her land but not old enough to have started school yet. My cousins are 14 and 16 respectively. My cousins, kind of resentful that they have to have me and my brother tag along, decide to go off into the woods and try to lose us. I remember most everything at that point vividly. The woods are dense, there are no trails anywhere. Me and my brother are terrified that coy dogs will attack us, but we keep following our cousins because we think we're safer in larger numbers and with older people to protect us. We keep going, but my cousins kind of lose us. It's getting darker because it's almost dusk, and we here a growling or roaring noise, but we never see anything that it's comming from. At that point, the memory sort of ends and doesn't pick up until a little while longer and it stops making any sense.
All of the sudden, we're lying in a meadow and it's bright again, like midday. We're laughing, and having fun. My cousin, suddenly and for no real reason is flying a kite in the air. a big, generic triangle kite that seems to be up way too high for it to ever get there, and I don't really remember him having a kite before that. The clearing is filled with cows and they are all watching us and mooing at us. I always found that odd, because my uncle had cows and they always seemed oblivious to us when were near them. My cousin stretches out to touch me, and then it all goes dark again. The next thing I know, I'm back in the woods close to my aunts backyard again and it's pitch black. My parents are angry with us, because we've been gone a long time and my cousins got back hours before that. My parents remember us being gone, but my brother doesn't remember anything about it and my cousins swear none of that ever happened. There was no meadow, there was no kite. There were no cows. There was just woods. They lost us and then went right back home to have a laugh at our expense.
I know it had to be a dream, that I was just so frigthened by the whole experience that I made the rest up to cope or something. I mean, I remember my brother and I having fun. I remember that I had fun, but remembering it all now fills me with a sense of dread I don't even know how to explain. No matter how much I think it has to be a dream, everything seems so real and so vivid. Thats the only thing I have in my history that every fits the question being asked here. I'm sorry it's not supernatural or anything, but thats all I've got. I'm sorry if this post is poorly formatted, I've never posted here before. I usually just lurk.

No, but it all my early memories up to a point (maybe around 6-8 years old) seem to be jumbled up and I can't figure out which order they go in, some may have even been dreams and not real. Really weird when I think about them :S

I was around 4 years old and i was walkingg out my front porche wth my cousins and a big white wagon.. The sudenly everything got dark and i realized there was a eclips going on and then i was in a huge field playing with my friends in the dark. i questionned my mom about that and she said i did go play in a big field with my friends but there was no white wagon or eclipse... it gets really scary at times!
