In an undoubted victory in the fight to make the world more sustainable, Japanese lingerie company, Triumph, has created an organic cotton, solar bra.

The solar panel powers an LED display board that can, I guess, advertise stuff?

OK, there's really nothing green about this, but I really can't pass up a good solar-powered undergarment story. We imagine that the bra will be useful mostly to people trying to sell technology with hot girls. Putting technology right there on the hot girl will give shy guys an excuse to look, increasing the chances that they'll buy whatever trade show item is actually on display."

Imagine 2 small electric fans attached on it

Just imagine the possibilities for a moment. You could plug in your laptop to charge it, you could go for a walk and charge your cell phone, and if you were feeling "frisky" you could plug in your...well...you get the idea. wink2.gif

Soooo... can you get the solar powered bra and panty set? Enquiring minds want to know.

The Japanese can be SO bizarre. LOL. I think they have their "racks" confused. Techies want racks with memory, not racks of mammories. tongue.gif

I dunno how practical undergarments being solar powered are, but useful for storing foreplay instructions if nothing else

I dunno.

If it gives you instructions on how to un-do the damned things, it's a great gizmo.

I'd have thought a kinetic bra would be more efficient, a jog around the block would charge a mobile phone for the average woman, some women would be capable of supplying the power for a small town.
jesspy
what is it supposed power? can you give people shocks while wearing it you know poke someone and go ZAP
Bear's Quest
An undergarment?...sounds like it was meant to be displayed as outerwear. A solar paneled bra is more provcative than a solar powered swimsuit: if it were called a solar paneled swimsuit we probably wouldn't be talking about it on this forum.

The bigger they are the more juice it will take to power it!

So much for wet T-Shirt night...

Isn't a bra supposed to be under a shirt?
