My best friend Robert has psychic abilities. He can't see into the future or anything, but he can see my aura and it seems like whatever I'm feeling, he gets twice that. It sorta freaks me out, but I think it's pretty cool. He can't read minds, either, but he gets really strong "vibes" and found out something about me that I swear on my life I never told anyone.

Wow he seems to be a natural. I would suggest psychic shielding. that way, he can't feel you. If he can't read minds, how can he find out something about you only through your emotions?

Nah, I don't care if he does that...It's actually pretty cool. Besides, I can't do psychic stuff like that, or at least I don't think so.

Sounds alot like body language and empathy in my opinion, which I don't consider psychic. What did he tell you? Maybe he peeked into the shower while you were in it

I would believe you are of course, because a sad face does not necessary mean he is sad. He may be thinking of something.

Oh but it does. Lets think about empathy. Why would you cry along with him, unless your feet got stuck on the glass flakes but because you feel sad when another person does. That is empathy at work. If it was not empathy, you would know that they were upset or angry because of guesswork. That then is not psychic. But because you cried along with him, leads me to think that such an occasion is psychical in ifself. Empathy, the ability to feel other's emotions. Therefore you were feeling the same emotion as the other person, if not, you won't be crying. You would be either sympatatic of indifferent.

Quite amusing lol. Empathy though, I don't see ANYTHING "psychic" about it. It's called body language imo, and having a sense of care. Body language for instance, if you see someone fold their arms and look away while you're talking to them, your brain reacts to that. If someone looks tired your brain reacts to that. If someone's crying over the loss of their parents, your brain react to that. People seem to make claims of being phychic over the silliest crap to me

Not quite so. The way I see it, it come from one thing. Telepathy. It has branched out into another form. Empathy because some people are better at sensing emotions than reading thoughts. Lets say, your brain reacts to another person's sadness, and I cry as well, I would not be able to see the exact amount of pain other people go through. But I do. Thats why its the psychic empathy.

When the people around you are happy, you will be too (most of the time).. there's nothing physic about it, its just how people react to to their enviroments (seeing someone cry might bring up bad memories/expierences)...

Well, I can't say I'd mourn the loss for a beer, cuz beer tastes like piss and has low alcohol content anyways. Maybe dropping a bottle of vodka, but that's not the point. Anyways, psychic or not, all people feel empathy to some extent, some more than others. What I'd be more impressed with is what kind of things your friend found out about you that you never told anybody. Of course, it might defeat the purpose of not telling anybody if you tell us, but it might be helpful to know what kinds of things your friend deduced by psychic means...
