Firstly, I am an Indian. I like the Chinese and the Tibetans. But I am a Christian. I believe in Christianity because of the humble teaching of Christ. I don't think innocent people should suffer for the mistake of arrogant idiots. It is very evident to me that the Chinese are suffering one of the worst earthquakes because they are very very very cruel to the Tibetans. I believe, "What goes around comes around". It is just the way everything works in this planet.

Do you agree with me?

If you disagree with me, why?

I think it serves the Chinese good for abusing the Tibetans but I don' t know why innocent people are punished for the mistake of the Chinese politicians.

No. Your last statement sums it up.

When (when) yellowstone park blows and half of the U.S is gone, others will say the same about us ... God is punishing them. I believe that this thought is irrational, why would god punish the innocent?

Why would thousands of innocent people, many of them children, have to pay the price for another's agenda? It simply doesn't make sense.
God is mad at the Chinese govt so he kills off multiple thousands of Chinese people? Doesn't this sound absolutely absurd to you? And to top it off you actually believe, and possibly revere, an entity that would do such a thing... That mind set is scary.
The Chinese govt abuses its own people - how do you rationalize that with "what goes around comes around"? Why hasn't the communist regime crumbled by virtue of wgaca?

While I do beleive in Karma... I agree innocent pay for the foolishness or their leaders....

Regardless, my heart and prayers go out to those on both sides of this tragedy...

Greeting navigator. Are you from South India I know many Christians live in that region but that there are a few other places too. As far as China an interesting about China is that historically they have a different view of natural disasters than we do. Many believe their rulers have a Mandate of Heaven so if a disaster like this happens then the people lose faith in their leaders just because of it. I heard this might not happen this time because China is doing better economically for some. The leaders are quick to be on the ground and the president is even visiting the disaster zone.

Tibetans have suspended their protests, which had been growing, out of respect for the Chinese disaster and they are praying for the victims. Very noble of them. What is interesting is the quake actually happened because of tectonics in Tibet leading to the disaster in China.

I did hear I think that that many anti-China protesters and even Tibetans have suffered in this quake. As far as God cursing the land I am not sure about the situation in China though I do believe that God only does this when their are abominations going on in the land. The Bible says this at least in the Old Testament referring to some. So the question is not if the government is doing wrong but if the people themselves are committing abominations. In America with all our abortions I do believe it is baby sacrifice, even if the people getting abortions do not realize it, and for it this abomination will bring destruction to the land eventually.

Leviticus 18:21 You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.

...

24 "Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean, 25and the land became unclean, so that I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.

I do not think China is suffering though because of its leaders choices or its citizens in reference to this quake. The land will still be good and many will remain and rebuild. It is so sad what is happening and it is mass chaos as far as the opinions and emotions of people and what they are experiencing. So much going on with different lives no two experiences are the same there now.

What is going on in Myanmar is even worse after their disaster from a cyclone. The government is just sitting back in the areas where the Karen have been hit and since they are considered rebels it is like they are enjoying it >_< Many people are all about Free Tibet but what about the Karen? Some of the government also is just using this as an excuse to get richer by passing out government emergency funds to their friends and such who are supposed to be helping with the disaster work. It just makes me feel so bad what is going on in both China and Myanmar.

I don't see how God could be punishing them, haven't you ever heard of plate tectonics? Fault lines? Can't natural disasters just occur naturally without being sent by God?
