Earlier today I was sitting at my computer playing an online game and I got this weird feeling all of a sudden, then I started hearing two different voices, a calm man and an angry woman, neither of which were anything like my own voice. At first I thought it was something weird from the game and I took off my headphones and turned off the sound but I could still hear them. It seemed like the voices were in my mind, I couldn't think straight and I just kept hearing the voices argue back and forth. All of my thoughts were drowned out and I felt like I was losing my mind, I couldn't make them stop so I tried ignoring them, I went back to playing my game and they eventually faded and I couldn't hear them anymore. I couldn't quite tell what they were saying but I could tell that they were arguing about something. I'm not sure what happened, I think it might have been telepathy but I'm not sure. I'm sure this sounds kinda crazy but I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas or thoughts about this.

Could you kind of tell a little bit about what they were saying, or just like murmurs?
I get that sometimes, like whispers, or just footsteps and pots banging, things like that. I think that it could be remote viewing, but without the viewing part lol, or maybe a repressed memory, or as you said, telepathy? I'm not sure thouh, i'm not an expert on anything liek this, well, not an expert on anything, really.

It sounds to me like inner conflict being brought to your conscious attention. I think we all use telepathy in various ways. In this case the manner of alearting you about something is not as importent as the something IMO.
I think the calm man and the angry woman are energetic aspects within your subconscious that desire you to assist them with a resolution. I would suggest that you look into this matter. It is very unusual for this kind of thing to express itself the way you described. You can talk to yourself about this and listen for some insights. I can also look into the matter for you, if I have your permission, and tell you what I think is going on.

Angel: I couldn't really understand what they were saying. its weird, it seemed like they were talking clearly yet i couldn't understand at the same time.
John: What would you suggest for you looking into it further? asking me questions or something? I don't see why not if thats the case.

From what you describe I'd venture a guess that they were just auditory hallucinations similar to those some come accross during falling asleep or waking up. Did they sound echoey(sp?)? I've experienced these during extreme mind fatigue ie. staying up all night working on a project, or just thinking too much for too long. Other times they can manifest is during stress. I also think that online gaming and having headphones on when one immerses themselves in the gameplay could give the mind an opportunity to wander from reality.
So, in my opinion, it is not telepathy as there are plenty of non-supernatural explanations that fit the bill. If problems persist please see a doctor.

hmm, that could be one explanation, they didn't seem echoey or anything though, just that strange thing I was talking about before, I could hear them clearly yet they were still out of focus and I couldn't understand them, when I tried to listen to what they were saying it seemed to come through a bit more but I could only hear a few words. I remember hearing the word "don't" but I'm not completly sure (one of those time where you try to remember something and your mind starts convincing you that you heard this or that). I'm just confused as to why it happened since I don't really have any of the causes that could have led to it (if it was some inner conflict). Theres nothing stressful going on in my life, I always get all the sleep I need. Its very strange. After hearing from everyone hear and doing some research of my own I'm relatively sure its some kind of inner conflict or something similar by a different name. I could be wrong though and it could just be an auditory hallucination as you said guardian. Any other input is appreciated, I'm going to do more research on the subject to see what I can find out.

Those voices could be spiritual guides, or they can be mere hallucinations due to psychotic depression. I don't want to sound too pretentious, but this should be considered "Paranormal Activity" to the extreme.

I never thought of it being something like spiritual guides. Anyone else have any ideas?

This would be the third or fourth time telling this.
Years ago I had the same issue. At my computer, when everything was quiet, usually a loud voice or music like it was from far away. FINALLY one day I recognized the tune. It was a TV commercial being received by my cable modem, despite the TV not being on. The sound actually originated INSIDE the modem that was under my desk. Mystery solved. YOU may have the same issue.
Remember, it's USUALLY the mundane.

thats kinda of a weird thing to happen huh, never would have thought something like that could happen. I'm pretty sure it couldn't be that though cause the router and the modem and everything is in my parents room and my computer connects to it wirelessly. thanks for trying to help though

sporkling: I didn't really feel afraid just really confused about the whole situation.

Why would spiritual guides be arguing with each other? Whenever I get an ear infection, I can hear a man's voice speaking but I can never make out what he is saying. In reality, there is really no man speaking inside my head; there is fluid in my ear that is making it sound like a man is speaking.

But it COULD very well be coming from your computer speakers. It's not all that uncommon for speakers to pick up outside interference. Eliminate all electrical influences, and any other possible mundane conduit for the sound, THEN look at the unexplainable stuff.

Why couldn't it have been a couple arguing outside? Do you live far out in the wilds with no one else around?

it could have been a couple arguing but my only nearby neighbor was at work.
As for it being the speakers I thought it was too but I turned them off after I started hearing the voices to make sure that wasn't the cause.
if it were something like what john said:

than what do you guys think that could mean?
it could very well be auditory hallucinations and if thats the case what could have caused that?
