Hello,
So after the past couple weeks of strange things occuring I figured that maybe I would do some research. Almost a month ago my life was great, everything was normal and I was in a happy marriage. Then one night mu husband was in bed snoring and I thought it would be funny to record him on his cell phone and set it as his alarm. He is always making fun of me for snoring so it was my chance to get back at him. When i picked up his phone from the nightstand I suddenly got a really bad fealing in my stomach and instantly thought that he was cheating on me. I decided to do some detective work and go through his calls, text messages, and voicemails. everything seamed normal. I mean there were a bunch of numbers that he had called in his log that were not assigned to names in his phone book but that has always been the case. But one number that i scrolled across hit me the wrong way. I knew, without a doubt that it was another woman. Afraid that he would wake up and find me snooping I quickly memorized the number and set the phone down. the next day while he was at work I called the number. it went to a females voicemail. When he came home I was soo furiouse I couldn't even look at him. so I confronted him. He denied that anything was going on and said he didn't know who's number it was. I told him that I knew and he better tell me what was going on. Finally he admitted that he had met her in a bar and haad talked to her "a few" times. Well eventually I found out that a few really meant over 35 according to the online ohone records. What an idiot.

So then there were a couple of other small things like knowing that my boss was having a bad day before talking to her or emailing her. As well as some other stupid stuff. But yesterday was probably the strangest day I've ever experienced. I have been haiving really strange dreams ever since I went on Zoloft and don't know if all this could be linked somehow but the other night I had a series of very random unconnected dreams about weird stuff. During the day they all began to actually happen!Right in front of me. I freeked out and laughed the first two time but the third and fouth times that my dreams or premonitions became rality kinda scared me.

1 Dream - In my dream I was on an elevator and kept passing up my floor. It kept going oast it and I would end up on the top floor and had to ride it back down only to pass it again.
Reality - In the morning I got on the elevator to get to my office on the floor of my building. i was kinda in a daze and wasn't paying attention when everyone walked past me to get off on my floor. the doors closed and I had to go back down to my floor.

OK, Kinda odd.

2 Dream - I dreamt that I had just bough this bright orange sweater and was looking for the perfect jewelry to wear with it. I knew I had a matching set but couldn't find it and what I did try on just didn't look good.
Reality - A girl that works across the floor from me came over tp my desk wearing the EXACT color sweater from my dream, wearing an orange colored stone matching necklace and earring set!!!! I was really shocked as soon as I saw her outfit. Then it got even stranger when she told me the reason she came to visit. She had two bracelettes that weren't fitting right and asked if my husband could redo the catches on them (he is a jeweler) - It was soo weird because jewerly played such a big part in the dream.

3 Dream - In another part of my dream that night or maybe it was another dream altogether because I can't find any connection between them all they were each pretty short sequences. An ex had come back to propose to me. But the engagement ring was a hideouse yellow gold rind with fake diaminds in it!
Reality - I was talking to my coworker about the new girl in my group having bad breath when she looked at me and said," Oh and diod you see her engagement ring?" I said, " No is she engaged?" She proceeded to tell me that the new girl got the ring from her EX FIANCE! But that she didn't think ot could possibly be REAL because the diamond was TOO BOG!!! I freaked out!!! I told my coworker all about my weird dream and thought about the other things that had happened coincidentally over the past few weekes. I got chills telling her, I was pretty creeped out.

4 Dream - I dreamt that there was someone laying on the ground in front of me and they weren't breathing. I leaned down to give them CPR and discoverred that they had a mouth full of food! Like a lot of food. i think it may have been meatloaf or ground meat of some kind. i couldn't tell if ity was a man or woman - it didn't matter in the dream. So anyway i was trying to figure out what to do. Should I breath air into their mouth so they could cough the food up or should I try to scoop it out of their mouth then blow the air ibnto he/she's lungs??
Reality - - After work that night my dad called to see how I was doing.l he knows that i have been depressed and I had told him about my husband. He was asking me haw I was doing and I wanted to change the subject. Recently my 5 month old neice had an accident. My sister was strapping her into her car seat when she lunged heself out of it and smashed her face off the tile floor of her kitchen and broke her nose. So I was telling my dad about that. I said I don't know what I would do if something happened to my daughter. He said, "I know, remeber when Lisa (my other neaice) was choking on that hotdog when we were camping and her lips turned blue and I had to give her CPR??" - I had to put down the phone because of my shock.

Mind you - this all happened in 1 day - yesterday. Today I pretty much put it out of my head but something strange happened at dinner.

We were at Eat N Park - for those of you niot in Pgh it is a diner. I had to use the restroom before leaving. So while I was in there a woman walked into the stall next to me. Immediately I thought that she had come in there to do drugs. As soon as I finished my thought I thought how absurd that sounded. I mean who' doing drugs in an Eat N Park bathroom at 7 pm? It's not like it's a bar or something - why would I think that. Then I saw her feet. She wasn't sitting down but instead standing and facing towards me. On the wall she would have been facing there is the toilet paper holder with a big flat top. I heard her crinckling some sort of plastic wrapper and thought maybe she was putting a tampon in although it distinctly sounded like cellophane. Then I heard the distinct tapping, of cutting out lines (don't ask why I know) I looked down at the floor and could see her whole outline. I could see her ponytail in a half bun at her neck and could see the short tube she was holding up to her face. Then finnally a loud snorting. She pulled off a little bit of tissue and quickly whiped off the top of the holder. She left the bathroom without washing her hands. One thing about her shoes that was starnge. They were clearly the type of shows you were when you work in a restaurant - you know those little black reabocks. And she was wearing black slacks. So she must have worked there. Who the hell does drugswhile they are working - what kinda drug do you snort and still remain functional afterwards.

Ok, so that it it for now. QA couple of questions -- do you think that my Zoloft has made me psychic? My great grandmother was supposedly psycic and a healer - could it be genetic?

Alos - do you all agree that there is NO POSSIBLE was that this is all a coincidence??

Sorrty this is so long - I am a descriptive/talkative person my nature and never know how to keep things sgort. Your advice and oppinions are needed, and appreciated.

About your possible conclusions. The drug may have affected you, but I doubt it. My mother is a very spiritual person, as am I , and as are my sisters. I more so than all of them. This has led me to believe it to be genes. You are having some kind of telepathic phenomenon going on. Reminds me of a word popping into my head like four minutes before my Science teacher introduced a new topic with the a few words that had come to me earlier in the day. It may be possible that the suspicion and stress of finding out about your Husband made it more frequent. I am not really sure , sorry.

Well, I've always found REAL psychics can sometimes pass on their "gifts" Example: A dear friend of mine's (will not speak name seeing how I dont have permission from her) mother frequently had premonintions which was passed on to her daughter (my friend). I have seen other instances like this with other families which makes me belive that it is in fact a genetic trait one can obtain (sort of like x-men without the unworldly abilities that make no sense). I think next time you should write down everything you dream from now on just to see how often it comes true.

Yes! That is a marvelous idea! You could jot down your dreams whenever you remember them briefly. Then, look back, travel through your sub-conscious , and remember the memory. Using that, you could make predictions after you possibly spot a pattern.

I wonder if there are also ways that I can practice my ability? Mayybe some exersises to build it or something. i will have to search for some. Let me know if you come across anything.

I think I took Zoloft once for my OCD, but it made me feel worse. The medicine that I take now though thankfully works. I know this is kind of off topic but one time I had a doctor give me the wrong kind of medicine for OCD. She gave me medicine for people who see things that aren't there, because she thought that I said I saw things. Anyway I think it's possible that the medicine that you took could have had some weird effect or it could be in your genes.

Wow that would really suck! I mean if my Dr though I said I was seeing things and wasn;t. What did the medicine do to you??

I've been taking Zoloft for seven years. It takes the edge off any empathic feelings I used to get. So I would think it would block any Premonition abilities. But then different people respond differently depending on the problem.

Just my two cents worth.

I only took it one day but it just made me feel even more panicked, and either that medicine or another one made me feel sleepy, but the medicine that made me more panicked made me scared to go to sleep. The weird thing was that I didn't and still don't have any idea what my reason was for being scared to go to sleep. The closest way I can describe how I felt was 'out of control' because I was sleepy but didn't want to sleep.
